Kentucky Sludge

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/...in609889.shtml

Article is too long to post, but in short; one of the worst eco disasters in our history happened 3 1/2 years ago and was supposedly covered up until now.

Has anyone heard of this before? I cant believe a disaster of this magnitude can go unnoticed, especially if you live in Eastern Kentucky or West Virginia.

Dad, the slurry's not gonna come out tonight is it?

To which I imagine Dad replied, "how do you think YOU got here?"

Small problem with his report blaming the Bush administration for a cover-up, Clinton was in office when this happened.

"Spadaro says he intends to sue the government. He's also in contact with the Office of Special Counsel for Whistleblower Protection."

We have an Office of Special Counsel for Whistleblower Protection?

I don' t see where thats a problem, if the investigation was underway whent the administration changed, and it was Bush appointees who shut it down. Why is that difficult to believe?

He says it was hushed by the Bush administration. I heard nothing about it during the Clinton administration so how much more hushed could it have gotten?
