Mosley / Mayorga
Anybody else watch this?
Decent fight, with a great eding, a knockout in the last second of the last round. This blows my mind: "Mosley led by one point on judge Nelson Vasquez's scorecard and five on Tony Crebs' card entering the 12th round. Mayorga had a one-point lead on judge Pat Russell's card." I dunno how you could score that fight for Mayorga after 11 rounds, but I suppose that's the 'wonder' of boxing. |

I don't get how it could be that close. Mayorga didn't do anything to win more than 3 rounds the whole night.
That was one of the oddest fights I've seen recently. It was good to see Mosely finally break through and knock him out. Having a split decision would've been terrible. The Berto/Forbes fight was excellent. Constant action by two very good boxers. Last edited by rjolley : 09-28-2008 at 10:30 AM. |
