Having one heck of a time here...(FOF related)
OK, I am trying to print to file some stats from TCY. When I try to do it I get "access is denied" or "file already exsists".
I did read on how to set up the "print to file" via this forum but am still having issues. :/ Am I doing something wrong when it asks me to "Output file name"? What exactly am I supposed to put there? |

when you hit the Print button, your printer setting needs to be set at Generic/Text Only. When you hit ok and it asks for the output file name, name it whatever you want but make sure it ends with .txt
The notepad icon for that should pop up on your desktop after that

Instead of starting a new thread about a new problem, I'll just post it here.
When printing out the stats I noticed that some of the stats are in order but other are not. See below for my example. You will notice that some stats are below others (for example, Bill Ledoux has his sack, sack yrds & Rating below his other stas). When trying to get this into access (for database purposes) it's all screwed up. Is there a way to get these all into one column? Thanks again. Well, not sure how to fix that as I don't mess with it too much.
You could try to use the TCY Exporter ( http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/for...threadid=19230 ) You right click on any stats page and it will export it into a simple, plain HTML page. All the stats will be how you like it, I just do not if you could then use this for putting into Access. Never messed around with Access much.
