I grew up listening to Joe on the MLB game of the week. Sad to hear of his passing.

Met him when I was in HS at a pro am golf tourney in my hometown. Nice guy.
He also grew up on the Hill across the street from Yogi Berra. The Cards got Joe, while the Yanks got Yogi. The local sports guys love Joe, but always wonder what the Cards would have been with Yogi and Stan the Man.

RIP
