My wife caught this last night and we rewound and I took a picture. God, it tilts me so badly. How much did they pay for this advertisement, I wonder? |

For the creative, probably $3k - $5k (if I'm guessing correctly about what the whole ad looks like based on that slide). For the spot it varies widely, quite possibly nothing. Often those are PI (Per Inquiry) spots, where they pay by the lead or sign-up (much like pay-per-click web ads). edit to add: Looks like this company is part of Covista Communications, and I'm sure the FOFC'ers who are part of the CALPERS retirement system will be excited to know that they own 11,000 shares of this obviously well run organization.

Heh, for all our differences Jon, one of the things I like about you is how you come through in times like this. My question was totally rhetorical and you answered the crap out of it.

Heh. Reminds me of the time a few years ago when Arizona and North Carolina were going to be playing a basketball game and it was to be carried on CBS. The local CBS affiliate in Detroit put up a local five-second filler spot about it and it read "Arizona Wildcats vs. North Carolina Tar Hells". I had the wife rewind the DVR just so I could capture it on my digital camera.
