Basic (The Computer Language)
Man is this language something or what? I love lines that begin with numbers and stuff. Programming was never so simple! No C++ for me, just give me good ol' basic!

Ah, Basic. That was the first programming language I learned, way back when programs were saved onto cassette tapes from my Texas Instruments TI-99-4A.
I was 5 at the time. If that doesn't make me the geekiest person on this board, I don't know what will.

"Try Visual Basic. Its even funner."
When I first read that, I thought it said funnier, not funner....my unconscious coming into play I guess. And C64 BASIC pwned. |

Tunnels of Doom? No, I don't think so. I remember playing Chisolm Trail, Hunt the Wumpus, and Microsurgeon, but I don't remember any other cartridge games that I had. Ah, memories.

Lets get more off topic
Wasteland on the C64 is still probably my #1 favorite game of all time for the role-playing genre. I loved that game and still smile when I see screen shots on the net. There were so many good games on the C64. Not to mention I ran a Color 64 BBS before I went into the Marines. I miss those times. Todd |

C64's and BBS's...good times, good times.
I still play old C64 games with an emulator. Back when game designers actually designed games, not just pretty graphics. |

We were at a bar on Friday night after the UConn game, and a extremely drunk friend of mine was hitting on a fat chick. The best thing I did for him all night was to pull him aside and tell him that we didn't go out to 'Hunt the Wumpus'. |
