BBCF Strategy Question

I was able to transfer in a hoss of a FB a year ago. Now he's off the mandatory transfer redshirt season and I'm looking to utilize him. I run a West Coast offse, so he'll often be ont eh field during our Pro Set formations, but no others.

However, how do I know if I don't want to bring this guy on the field as a pass blocker during obvious passig situations?

I've looked over this guy's card three times and I swear I can't find a pass blocking stat anywhere. He is an amazing athelete with an 18 run block. Is this just a generic block stat, or specific to run blocking?

I've never had a good receiving FB before (18 hands, 12 route running) and if he's a good pass blocker too, this guy is an automatic include as a passing down back even in a single back set.

So, here's my question(s):

1). Where do I find a FB's pass block skill? How do I figure this out?
2). Will the computer use him as I want it to for a passing down back? (part of the time as a blocker, part of the time as a nice outlet foir my QB)
3). Or, instead, is the FB position in BBCF like the position in TCY - i.e. meaningless

Team Roster --->2nd Pulldown menu----->Off/Def skills

PB = pass blocking

Thanks for the help. I don't think this game likes backs as pass blockers if doesn't even have them as a stat on the back. For the record, none of my backs have a pass blocker higher than 2.

Out of 20.

That answered my second question too, but my third question is even more important - are FBs really that important in BBCF or are they the chumps that they are in TCY.

The Pass Block rating isn't used for a FB (or RB) since he doesn't pass block off the line of scrimmage (it's also why it's not shown on their cards). The important skills for blocking for backs are (in order of importance):

Pass blocking (chip or backfield): strength, agility, instincts, aggressiveness
Run blocking: run block, strength, aggressiveness, instincts

Again, since FBs tend to pick up rushers in the backfield, there's no set "rating" to use. It's more a factor of the above attributes for that guy.

For the importance of FBs, I would say they can be in the right offense. I would call plays to their strengths though. Ie, I would try not to use a receiving fullback as the lead blocker for running plays (hence the receiving FB option on the depth chart).
