Shouldn't this have been a poll?
COD Is Out: A. Tomorrow B. Today C. On my Trout's Birthday

I've only played the PC demo, but it is pretty damn fun. It was only single player though. I'm expecting MP to be pretty f*ckin awesome.

just got done playing over 2 hours of COD4. had to stop playing due to motion sickness. lots more fun than Halo, but also lots more hard. no special armor to regenerate, lots of easy kills in this game. and by easy kills i mean i die very easily. it runs very fast, unfortunately it seems as if the guys on the team always know what they're doing and i'm dying while trying to throw a grenade. the visuals are astounding. guess i just gotta keep at it, i already moved up several levels in MP (Lance Corporal II). fun game, but this one is gonna take me a while to get the hang of. too bad there isn't a beginners lobby, no fair getting stuck with a bunch of uber players.

Circuit City has a deal where you buy COD 4 and you get COD 3 for free.
Heading there at lunch! |

It's amazing. I got it on 360 and it has SIXTEEN multiplayer maps. Kicking ass on team deathmatch but my crappy teammates have made me 10-21 overall Look for me on there sometime if you wanna play.

Completely unrelated, but I'm really enjoying COD 2. Because I suck, multiplayer would not work out well.

May have to check this out. Right now Quake Wars and Team Fortress 2 are eating up all of my gaming time, though.

Is there any co-op play?
How many players can you have on one Xbox 360 (no live) at once?

Wow...now this is a great game. Though I realized how bad I am at FPS console games after five minutes of multiplayer!

Let's get together!!
Name a date and time. I think you can have up to 18 players or something like that. I stayed up until 2 am playing this game last night. I'm having more fun than I did with Gears of War... and that's saying something. |

Me and two other co-workers play COD2 at work and have a great time. We've tried several mods and we are currently using one that allows us to setup trip wires with grenades while playing a last man standing format with a time limit so it's fast with lots of killing yet there is some strategy and patience involved. I'm going to download the COD4 demo today to see if my hardware can handle it. If so, I'll be buying it this week!!!! |

I was planning to pick up this game, but then I saw that the price was $70 on Steam.
EDIT - $82 if I include sales tax. That is crazy pricing. Last edited by Ryan S : 11-07-2007 at 12:55 PM. |

I think my worry on this game is what I'm reading in every review about a super short campaign. I play online some but I'm buying a game mostly to play on my own.

I'd probably give this a try if I hadn't just bought Team Fortress 2 and The Witcher and became addicted to both. I've kind of got burnt out on the CoD-style campaigns, but maybe a change of scenery will change it up nicely.
I've never even bothered with the multiplayer in the past versions because it seemed so bland, so is it actually pretty good? |

Same. Apparently the campaign clocks in at around six hours, so I may have to wait on this one, even though it looks like fun. Anyway, I have a feeling that there won't be much time for anything else once Mass Effect comes out. |

I've played a little bit of the campaign, I'm not feeling it as much as I liked R6 LV. Multiplayer is fun though, though I just played with some randoms and the one guy said f-ck probably 350 times.

I agree. This is why I like the co-op mode or split-screen multiplayer modes. I like playing these games with other people, but really only with people I know.

Man, I am stuck on the sniper mission right now.
I'd say, this game might be my favorite on the 360 thus far. I've spent several hours in the SP campaign and I'll still haven't finished it yet. Last edited by MizzouRah : 12-02-2007 at 12:37 PM. |

Yah, I have been absolutely addicted to this game. After finishing the single player game, I have been playing multiplayer on it non-stop!

i traded it in. there really wasn't an engaging storlyine for me to play solo, and i was getting completely dominated by all the leet kidz and uber nerds online. no fun just dying all the time without being to dish it back. i unfortunately picked up Mass Effect, which just couldn't hold my interest at all. i'm now gonna just trade all this stuff in for Rock Band, which i may pick up tonite. best case scenario is i can play it with my wife, since most games these days are just too complicated for her.

For COD4 players on the PS3, they're having a double experience points weekend this week. Good way to level up a bit quicker........

Got the game on sell from Best Buy for 37.99 with some christmas gift card money the other day. So far I am playing mostly MP and am up to level 7 or 8. I am really enjoying playing MP with my AK47 and finally got the lazer sight for it. I really suck and my kill to death ratio is probably about 1:3 at this point which is horrible but I just don't have the twitchy reflexes I used to.
If anyone is playing on XBoxLive and wants to team up let me know... My id is BigDPW on XBL also. |

Got the game for Christmas and beat it within 2 days. Great game. I did think it was alittle short though. Can't wait to start playing it on Live.
