Get off my lawn - Website Edition
Man do I miss the web like 2010 ish. Back then you could actually find information on websites without being bombarded by ads, autoplay ads, new ads that play as you mouse over or pop up, expanding banners on the top advertising new content, websites that only make sense for mobile or tablets, or the reverse. I was just trying to check out the NBA power rankings at SI and a ticker takes up the top 1/4 of the screen, then a huge bar drops down advertising the Crossover and a video starts autoplaying in the bottom right after I mute the auto play commercial at the top. I can't even read a full teams comments even when they are only a couple of lines long. It's not like any of the other sites are better, ESPN is brutal, yahoo, forget it, bleacher report, ugh. The only one I don't mind is the Athletic but it's more for articles than quick stuff. Bah.

I haven't seen an ad or autoplay in quite a while. Ad Blocker and No Script on either Firefox or Chrome is all you need.
