He also managed to make it to death without (to my knowledge) being accused of sexually assaulting anyone, so that’s also pretty surprising in today’s climate

And his cousin Goober, also of HeeHaw fame, died 5 years ago.
He did have a beautiful, unexpected voice

I was a mason hoddie when I lived in NW Montana and worked on his cabin up in Whitefish.. a year after he sold it. So close to fame!

So frustrating seeing you all remember that he died years ago...but willing to write it off as bad memory.
I remember him dying of AIDS about 15-20 years ago. Oh well... |
