RIP seems inappropriate for Mr. Romero. But the sentiment certainly is.

The world is so much more awesome for him being in it.

How long until a George Romero zombie appears in a movie?

I remember the original Dawn of the Dead was a great movie. Back in the 80's it scared the heck out of me. I loved how they ended up at the mall.

His subsequent zombie movies really weren't that great but I'll always remember him as the guy responsible for my zombie fascination.

RIP Mr. Romero, your movie's changed my childhood.

I remember staying up really late to watch Dawn of the Dead on cinamax when i was around 8 or so. Great times.... You will be missed.

The original Dawn of the Dead is my favorite movie alongside Empire Strikes Back.

I would argue that in the field of movies that I enjoy, both Romero and Lucas had an equal impact in their genres.

Sad to see him go.
