NOFL has started (Preseason Deadline is August 13th at 7:00 AM.)
Assuming that rosters should be made by then if we can't use current rosters, I plan on inviting everyone by Saturday 9th. If we get confirmation that the current rosters are safe, I'll invite everyone within the next 24 hours.

Yes. As I posted in the other thread, Mrs. Eaglesfan is taking longer to make dinner than expected. Therefore, I apologize for the delay, but invites will go out within about 30-45 minutes, no more than an hour from now. After that point, everyone can do their preseason activities. Hopefully, everyone will get them done in the next day or two, but as we previously voted, everyone will have up to a week to do them.

I haven't really been paying attention to the NOFL threads...
Have we decided what sliders to use intially? Can we edit players numbers... A O-Lineman for State is converted from a D-Tackle and still has #91... It is really annoying seeing #91's back on everyplay when in real life he has switched his number to #58 (Ted Larsen)... |

Also will we need to reschedule OOC games with FCS to real teams... Do we tell the commish that or can we do it in the game?

I posted a tentative set of sliders earlier today. They are still up for discussion, but I've gotten good play out of a set close to these. My reasoning behind them is discussed in the AA vs Heisman thread.
All invites have been sent! Let me know if you didn't get yours. Two of you weren't on my friend's list so I had to type those user names in manually. Also, I'm going to post in here as well as its own thread, the only unilateral rule I would like to make (unless someone can give me a very good reason not to do so.) Please, do not use Supersim. It is broken (doesn't take enough time off gameclock) and will result in very unrealistic stats. As far as rescheduling games, you must let me know about any games that you wish to reschedule. |

I'll take a look tonight. I don't remember which teams, but there were at least 5 users that faced FCS teams. |

I could always look at BC's schedule in a regular dynasty as well.

What kind of deadline do we need to set on this? I know Cartman is traveling until Friday or something like that...and Raiders Army is only around periodically.

Dola...
I just saw that Raiders Army's 360 took a crap 2 weeks ago, which means he's got at least 3 more weeks until he can do anything.

We need to change our 9/06 game (FCS team). Any chance you can cancel that date, and Western Kentucky's game on 9/20 (they play a FCS team), and set us up for a home game with them in week 15?

The deadline for advancement will be a week. So, next Weds morning it will be advanced for everyone. Anyone who hasn't done their preseason tasks by Sunday evening will get a reminder PM.
Galaxy, I cannot adjust CPU team's schedules directly. I can only change a user team's schedule. However, I think that if I cancel your 9/6 game, it will let me schedule them with you in week 15 and will just cancel one of their other games as it chooses (hopefully, not the one I set up against NC State last night.) I have a feeling WKU is going to be playing against a lot of human teams

Also, I'll send a PM to RA to see the status of his 360. Karlifornia is still interested in joining the league. I'll leave it up to RA whether he wants his team to be on CPU control until he gets back or if he wants to drop out.

Sounds good. Unless I read a clarification, I'll take them in order, trying to give you Miami of Ohio first. I'll be fixing all of the schedules after dinner tonight. |

I'm not in the league - hell I don't even have the game (rented it) but would buy it if I could get in a good online dynasty. Is there a cap to how many teams there are on a onlin dynasty? I guess I'm asking if there is room for me to play?
thanks....

CleBRownsfan...we may or may not have an openning in this one (depending on a couple guys deciding one way or another). There is a cap at 12 coahces per dynasty...I believe the EBFL (run by DeToxRox) has an openning if you're looking for instant gratification. If you want to be in the better league however, I would talk to EaglesFan27 and see if the spot is still open

I'll add you to the waitig list CleBrownsfan, but I'd check with DeToxRox. Both leagues have quality guys in them, and I believe they may have an immediate opening. I won't know if we have an opening until later today or maybe tomorrow.

I'm purposefully waiting until all of the schedules are done, as I'm not sure if I can edit schedules once I click ready to advance past this stage. I haven't heard from kcchief in a while either. If I don't hear from him by this evening, I'll PM him. |

dola...with the sliders we have now I'm seeing a LOT of WR drops. My two starting WR's are leading the nation in drops in my offline dynasty. I have one guy who has 8 receptions and 6 drops...my completion percentage is 59% right now...has anyone else tried these sliders out for themselves?

I've used them in well over a dozen games. Yes, there are a fair number of drops but I haven't been leading the nation. It cuts down the number of passes where you can squeeze it in and gives the defense more of a chance. However, like any of the sliders, if a majority want to change it, we will.

He said he should be caught up tonight. We should be ready to advance by tomorrow. You wanted to play Galaxy at his stadium, right? That is one of the things I'm waiting for confirmation on, before I advance. Edit: We are also still waiting on Cartman, since Arkansas State wasn't available to play him in week 1.
