Yeah -- once you got a hold of them, in that left/right pattern, you could just beat them senseless until you got to 100 (or was it 99?).

I can still "hear" some of the music/FX from some of these games (definitely Stampede, ET, and Pitfall).

I played MULE on the NES. It was a game my dad and I both played quite a lot, me more so than him.
