Boxing: Floyd Mayweather vs Shane Mosley on May 1st

Awesome fight. Doesn't totally make up for Floyd vs Manny but this is going to be a better fight if you ask me.

It is planned on being announced next week, assuming Shane doesn't somehow lose to Berto this weekend.

The hate from HBO on Floyd is fucking absurd. I hate Merchant so much.

Looks like Mosley is making him work for it though.

He was making him work for it. The last four rounds are a Floyd clinic. Shane has no answers now.

Floyd wins another round. He is landing 2-3 big shots each round now. Emmanuel Stewart even said it looks like Floyd doesn't even respect Shane out there right now with out aggressive he is being. Floyd is actually looking for a KO it seems.

Chalk yet another up for PBF. He almost KO'd Mosley as Mosley was jawing at him. Hit him with a nice straight right. This is a clinic.

If you want to know what happened in round 9, read any of my previous posts.

In round 9 Mosley connected on 3 out of 45 punches. Just disgusting.

Shane landed 92 out of 400 + punches. Just unreal effort by Floyd.

Don't know why I continue to get these Mayweather fights. It's gotta be Pac Man next, they can't keep throwing these guys out there and let Floyd put on a clinic each and every time.

Part of why I didn't pay for it. That is the only opponent I would pay to watch Mayweather fight.

I was watching at work (the benefit of working at FOX News on the weekend is they get all the big events.) Of course, some idiot tried to blow up Times Square tonight and after round two I spent the rest of the fight actually working.

+1 though Clottey gave Mayweather a game plan that he can execute much better. I would worry even that fight could turn into a bore.

You're right, that is really hard to explain. Why would they keep scheduling such uninteresting opposition?

Oh, right, there's that. (Nothing personal, of course)

I didn't quite agree with the judges' scorecards. I gave a couple of rounds to Mariah Carey's cleavage.
