Bengals get Palmer, Lions on the clock.
The deal is all but done, so now it is the Lions turn.
link my favorite part of the article: According to league rules, the Lions can begin negotiating a contract with candidates once the Bengals' deal is consummated. Damn, the NFL takes their contracts seriously. Can they consummate it with Palmer's fiance? |

Yep, I read an article over on espn.com about it.
You cannot help but root for the Bengals, I mean I hate to see teams just go to waste, it is bad for the league. Lions are definetly on the clock now. I wish the Cowboys would draft Kyle Boller, but it looks like those stinkin 49ers are gonna get him instead. Shut!

I have a friend with contacts inside the Charles Rogers camp; apparently they are saying that the Lions are guaranteeing him they will take him with the second pick, and any talk of a trade has just been the Lions throwing up smoke.

Well the Bengals got their guy in David Klingler, now I just hope the Viking can get their guy and DeWayne Robertson will somehow be there when they pick.

I highly doubt that the Bears would pass on him, and even if they did, the Cowboys or the Cardinals will take him.

I doubt he'll be there too, but that doesn't stop me from hoping. And hell, the Texans may be looking to move down 4 spots.
I do hope Andre Johnson is gone though, because rumor this week is that if he's on the board while the Vikes pick they'll probably take him. |

That's kind of suprising, but unless the Texans trade out of 3rd, they'll be taking him. I predict that Johnson will be a big time bust because of his hands of stone. I don't think you can teach good hands, and he doesn't have them.
