Awkward II
SOOOOOOOOOO, The other day at the main office I happened to be joking with one of the younger office workers, SG about life, money, Bf, etc. I throw out there that he's single. She says so am I, hook us up, etc. etc. So I tell BF later that day that him and SG are getting married in a couple of weeks, yeah, it went that way with the joking. Anyways, so SG sends BF an email regarding this and I guess they begin communicating via email and eventually they go out. BTW GF was involved in the initial joking around with SG. SO, they go out and it is learned that SG is 10 years younger than BF. Well this is not the big deal, but now add this to the fact that SG is the duaghter of NG, a higher up in the company. uh oh, NG and the pres., and the VP go out drinking all the time. uh oh, pres and the VP, and the other VP basically can decide where BF and I go, and whether or not we will make any money down the line. So now I dont know what to do, BF wants to keep it under wraps since theyve gone out a bunch. SG doesnt want to keep it under wraps, or at least doesnt feel the need to, so that is a point of contention. With all the initial relationship tension it would be pretty hard to pull back on the reigns w/o hurting someone's feeling and feeling the repurcussions but if they go longer and it doesnt work out NG will learn of this and it could be suicide. What to do? I could apply some pressure but then i would be the bad guy. I should stay out of the way but if BF screws this up it could be bad for me, us. THEN, add in the fact that she is a member of the biggest church here in town which is also a very big political presence in the city along with the builders it just muddies the waters even more. THEN add in the fact that at that church pretty high up is one of our neighborhood neighbors and we keep in touch it even muddies the waters more. What if NN sees something at BF's house he/she shouldnt see? She lives far away from BF so the drive could be a hinderance to all this and I can just relax, plus she has to go home to take care of her new puppy so she cant stay over here too long. ugh.....what to do.

Amazingly, I actually understood most of that. Your story-telling is improving.
As to your quandary...well...I can't offer much in the way of advice. Sorry. |

no, theyre not technically a nieghbor since the dont live next door, they live further up the street and across the main neighborhood road, hence the neighborhood neighbor.

I'd just chill out and watch it all unfold. Worst case you get a little drama and we get another thread.

I am gonna need pics to get a real idea of what you guys should do. But off the top of my head I woud say that BF does in fact need to marry this girl. Think of how well connected he will be.
I would be interested to read what franklinnoble's advice would be. |

I still think Flasch's title should be "Attention Whore".

I am going to assume SG = single girl but what in the hell does NG stand for? Nature girl? Nudist girl?
Nippy Girl? Nasty Girl? |

There are two lessons here: Dating is rarely worth the effort, and sequels are always disappointing.
