So, who else from FOFC is attending this year?

I had a fun moment today.

Noon - Registration for hotels opened up
2 PM- Foz remembers that hotel registration starts, panics.
2:10- Attempts to grab hotel.. see there's one only place available left near the con. Say "Maybe there's a place that will have more room wed-sun, instead of wed-monday".
2:11 Nope, not only is there no place close, but that last place apparently just sold out. Curse.
2:15 Book a place near the airport, knowing that I'll probably have to rent a car, and that will probably mean it all come out to the same amount, and it means having to drive to downtown. Leave it on the confirmation screen
2:30 Look up while working, see a message that says "Your login has expired, please login again", panic, thinking my registration had not gone through for some reason.
2:45 Re-register for another hotel at the airport
3:30 Look at my email, realize I have registrations for two hotels (it turns out that it just auto logs you out after a certain amount of time to make sure it can release any hotels back to the pool).
3:35 Call the Indianapolis Housing/Hotel Authority to cancel one, and to try to get put on a waitlist for something closer to the con. Get told that someone just cancelled a registration at a downtown hotel I had stayed at previously. Pricy, but not bad. I agree to switch over my registration.


So at various points today, I had no hotels, two hotels, and then one hotel, which was neither of the two I had previously. :P

Bummer that I didn't get to meet up with anyone when I went two years ago and now I don't live in Indy

Too late in August for me this year. In fact, I think it will be 2 years before I get back.
Im thinking of going to Origins in Columbus, OH this year.
