It's my turn

It's been a long time since the official caterer of my lunch has been "Coors Brewing Company" but I believe I still remember how this is done.

Coors is like making love in a canoe.

I've had better.

Although there's certainly worse stuff, I think finding out that you won't be gaining the additional 50% increase in revenue you expected next year is certainly worth enough beer to get drunk on.

Considering how little booze it takes to get me drunk these days, I'm actually 99.999% sure it's worth at least that much.

And, just for the hell of it ... having that happen while you're also
1) Trying to find a new house
2) Trying to find a new house that meets geographic, financial, educational, and size requirments
3) Trying to figure out how in the hell you'll eventually sell the house you already have
AND
4) Trying to make any of it seem worth what you're going through to accomplish it

... well, that's make getting lit pretty much a slam-dunk choice.

Wow, sorry man. That is rough.

Though selfishly I'm looking forward to JIMGA drunk posting.

LOL, enjoy it while it lasts ... it'll probably be followed quickly by either JIMGA-passing-out or JIMGA-saying-fuck-it-and-just-going-to-sleep-drunk-in- the-middle-of-the-afternoon.

If the latter, I'd almost bet on a sequel later tonight though.

This should be interesting. I'm wondering if JIMG is an angry drunk, or does his alter ego appear and he becomes a laughing, joking, devil-may-care, might actually kiss Flasch on the cheek kinda drunk.

Eh. Never mind. I'll go tell SkyDog to clean out the penalty box.

Actually, only tequila is the only thing that historically makes me a mean drunk.
We're talking about pool-cues-over-the-heads-of-unsuspecting-victims kind of drunk.

{sorry for the delay that you didn't even know happened mid-post, had to get another beer ... and another after that)

Outside of that, i tend to go in whichever direction motivated the drunk in the first place -- if it was a good mood drunk, I get party animalish, if it was a bad mood drunk, I go pretty well melancholy (which is really f'n hard to spell or type when drinking).

Meanwhile, I have now acheived the numb-forehead stage of drunkeness ... which is pretty damned good for 1:22 in the afternoon.

(for those who don't recognize that part of the drunkness scale, think Spicoli "That was my skull! I'm so wasted! ")

I can see this thread will attract a lot of rubbernecking, rather like a nasty pileup on the interstate.

Nah, that's a misconception caused by my accent.

When picturing me drunk, remember the roots of my drinking -- I was a child of the 80's, with a George Lynch hairstyle (circa early/mid 80's)
and I was taught how to drink by a collection of Marines & Rangers.

More the damn pity, the hair was a casualty -- first of getting married (she hated it, it went, and I'll never forget standing in the shower crying over my loss) and eventually, of the aging process. I couldn't get that hair back in 5 years worth of growth at this point.

I didn't have a T/A ... but I had a red '78 Camaro that would flat out fly.
Also had a 1980 Cutlass Supreme, champagne color, which really fit in with my "look" that combined the hair with a Polo shirt-over-concert-T look.

Nah, but neither did Foxworthy's AFAIK, so I figure it isn't too much a handicap

Hey Jack...I know what your thinking. That now's
as good as any to start drinking. Hey
Scotty...Yeah...What's it gonna be? A gin &
tonic sounds might mighty good to me.

Man I know I gotta go it's the same thing every
time, but I don't think another drinks' gonna
make me lose my mind. So I think about my
next drink, and it's you & me and the bottle
makes 3 tonight.

Well I know this cat named Mo. He wanders to
and fro. His and my favorite waterin' hole. I said
hey Mo, "how you doing, where have you
been?"
He said, "I've been fine with my whiskey, wine
and gin."

Man I know I gotta go it's the same thing every
time, but I don't think another drinks' gonna
make me lose my mind. So I think about my
next drink, and it's you & me and the bottle
makes 3 tonight.

(You) know there's nothin' like the real world
To get me down.
Nothin' like the world outside
That turns me upside down,
Makes me feel like I'm headin' down a one-way, dead-end street.

There's no way out, no way out
Of this living hell.
No way out, no way out
Unless you walk heaven's trail.
No way out, no way out
Of this living hell, livin' hell

And the Tesla mood leads to a Brad Paisley reminder
I can make anybody pretty
I can make you believe any lie
I can make you pick a fight
with somebody twice
your size. . .

Well I've been known to cause a few breakups
and I've been known to cause a few births
I can make you new friends
Or get you fired from work.

(Chorus)
And since the day I left Milwaukee,
Lynchburg, Bordeaux, France
Been makin the bars
Lots of big money
and helpin white people dance
I got you in trouble in high school
but college now that was a ball
you had some of the best times
you'll never remember with me
Alcohol, Alcohol

I got blamed at your wedding reception
for your best man's embarasing speech
and also for those naked pictures of you at the beach
I've influenced kings and world leaders
I helped Hemingway write like he did
and I`ll bet you a drink or two that I can make you
put that lampshade on your head . .

And since the day I left Milwaukee,
Lynchburg, Bordeaux, France
Been makin a fool out of folks
just like you
and helpin white people dance
I am medicine and I am poison
I can help you up or make you fall
you had some of the best times
you'll never remember with me
Alcohol

And since the day I left Milwaukee,
Lynchburg, Bordeaux, France
Been makin the bars
Lots of big money
(crowd and helpin white people dance
Well,I got you in trouble in high school
but college now that was a ball
you had some of the best times
you'll never remember with me
Alcohol, Alcohol
