Anyone have Madden 2006 for PC yet?

I haven't owned Madden since 2004 but I am thinking about picking up this year's for the PC as I don't own a console system. Does anyone have the game yet?

I don't think it'll be out for a few more weeks due to the recent "delay".

I have not heard that as I thought that the release date was August 16th. If you are right...oh well...

i saw a post at Maddenmania and someone saw it at Walmart today.

I got 2005 today. I am pretty impressed, but maybe thats because the last version I have before this one is 2002. So now I am just a little behind the times instead of way behind.

Well, no one had it today. I tried to ask the manager at EB when they expected it, but he wouldn't get off the phone long enough to help me.

that how they did it the last few years.

My local Gamestop said they should be getting the game tomorrow (Aug 18th)

Gamestop and Circuit City both now list the game as back-ordered with no store availablity. Walmart and Target now list the release date at 8-22. EB lists the release date as 9-20! This does not look good, people.

I had it preordered from Best Buy and it is listed as back ordered.
EA Sports lists it as "Limited availability."

Gamestop and Ebgames are now saying they have it. The local Gamestop claims they have it in stock. I'm going to blow something up if I get there and they are like "Oh, I meant 2005!"

someone at Maddnemania forum is reporting the pass/run glitch is in the Madden 2006 pc version too. so you will know if the human or cpu will pass or run.

hopefully EA will make a patch to fix it for the pc.

Features Missing on the PC Version (Madden 2006)

its been reported so far missing on pc version of madden that the console has is :

1) no injury sliders

2) no naming Team captains in Franchise mode

3) you cant make custom team for franchise mode. (EA lied)

4) no create-a-player during franchise mode

5) Easy Play Option

6) Madden Tutorial Videos

please confirm if this is true and others things you notice that console has and pc dont.
