OT - Brings back memories
When I was younger, one of the things me and a friend of mine loved to do was to create a system out of dice or cards to determine the outcome of games. We had systems for football and baseball. I even made one for boxing a long time ago and create a program similar to one on this site, though no where near as complete. (Not to say this one is stable or complete. )
But it does bring back memories. Retro-Sports |

I made one at Rutgers when I was bored in my room... And it was a BasketBall one of course !
I also had a Football (soccer) sim with 8 European leagues with Champions League, UEFA cup, National Cup, promotion/relegation... Memories, memories... |

I've done the same with baseball, basketball & football as well as racing. And thanks to this thread, I finally found NASCAR Grandstand which people have mentioned before but I could never find.
I'm absolutely having a blast with the recently uploaded Excel automatic version of it, because it is so similar to what I used to do but a lot easier & visually appealing than my old pen & paper. And if I develop the paitience to work out the campaign mode of the boxing sim that might provide a good bit of time-passing for me eventually too. Big thumbs up for this thread & link, and a thank you as well. Jon
