scottie bowman is gonna get canned

look for the red wings to announce they are letting him go soon. got word from a decent source about this. they have someone else in mind, was all i was told. couldn't tell me whom even though he knew

odd move, at least for someone who doesn't follow hockey all that closely

Bowman isn't the coach anymore... They let go of Dave Lewis and are probably hiring Mike Babcock.

I hear the Tigers are sick of this rebuilding shit year after year and are letting Sparky Anderson go.

I don't know what is funnier - the "decent source" part or the "doesn't follow hockey all that closely" part

The Red Wings follow hockey about as closely as a team can, I would imagine.

I think the new coordinators this year will really fit in with the team and push it over the hump. The new coordinators last year just didn't fit. The new offense and defense will be more like the previous offense and defense which should help with the confusion. The offense and defense lastr year were just too different from the previous year's offense and defense which took a while to adjust to after the previous years coordinator's were fired just when the team started to adjust from the previous year's coordinators.

One thing you can always count on Wayne to do is fire them coordinators!

Mark my words, the Lions are going to regret drafting Barry Sanders while Tim Worley was on the board.

Damn I wish Hebert was the QB for the Lions, but I bet the Panthers win several titles in the next few years.

I feel good about another Penn State RB for the Bears. That first one just had to be a fluke.

Earlier today my Uncle Tony walked to the store to pick up a pack of cigarettes and stopped on the way to watch a little streetball. He kept on rambling on about this one kid. Lopez or something. Felipe Lopez, that's it. I guess he's gonna be a star.

In all seriousness..

Alexander pitched like a motherfucker after we acquired him. That was a decent trade for the Tigers, and I wouldn't have it any other way....

I know, I know... But it still was a trade that 10 years later you shook your head and said "Damn, did they have to give up Smoltz?" Hell, in the postseason you started saying it.

With stars like Jim Kelly, Steve Young, Herschel Walker, and Sam Mills, this USFL can go for a long time. Arena Football doesn't stand a chance!
