NFL 2006 Power Ranking Week 1
NFL 2006 Power Ranking Week 1 By FOF_Stats I will try to post a NFL power ranking here during the regular season. The ranking is the same stat-based ranking I currently use in the NAFL and IHOF. It uses win-percentage, offensive rushing, offensive passing, points scored, points allowed, pass defends, run defends, turnover margin, sos and win-streak to rank the teams. I normally also use the FOF in-game power ranking but have replaced that in this ranking by an average of the ESPN, CNNSI and CBS power ranking. Please have fun with this and feel free to comment. _______________________________________________________ 1. _______________________________________________________ 2. _______________________________________________________ 3. _______________________________________________________ 4. _______________________________________________________ 5. _______________________________________________________ 6. _______________________________________________________ 7. _______________________________________________________ 8. _______________________________________________________ 9. _______________________________________________________ 10. _______________________________________________________ 11. _______________________________________________________ 12. _______________________________________________________ 13. _______________________________________________________ 14. _______________________________________________________ 15. First and only time that we will probably see the Saints in the top 10.
It's nice to see the Saints in the top 10. |

That might look strange but this is the reason if you only looking at this one game its not that strange.
Colts had no running game last week (ranked 29th in the league) Colts allowed 3rd most rushing yards Colts allowed 8th most passing yards. They had the 16th ranked offense and 31st ranked defends. Jets on the other side had the second most passing yards and had the 5th ranked offense and 18th ranked defends. |

Imagine how much lower the Colts would have been ranked if the Giants D had held onto some of those interceptions.
It is funny seeing Carolina at 27th though even if it is only one week. |

The first week, is a laugher because 50% of the teams are all 100%. But still, I like.
