hooking up a 360 to a vista pc
My brother just bought a 360(arcade). In leiu of buying the 100 dollar wireless adapter, i was wondering how you hook the console up to a Vista PC that has a wireless connection to a router. Anyone managed to do that, or is it impossible with the core system/vista?
I was assuming you'd just direct connect the xbox into the pc, and then run a utility to bridge the connection, although it might not be that easy. Last edited by stevew : 12-17-2007 at 12:58 PM. |

If the router has an open port, run a wire to the router. Or buy a wireless switch or hub that connects to the router, then plug the 360 into it. In general, you want to get the 360 connected to the router, either directly or through a hub or switch.

Hmm. I may have to go over and try to bridge a wireless router to their wireless router. Probably the easiest solution if I can make it work.
