If D.C. gets a baseball team,
although the most popular choice for a team name may be Senators to rekindle the past, I think it would be an intelligent marketing ploy by MLB to call them the Diplomats. It is more appealing to global marketing, could become "the world's team" and realistically, many of the players will not be American citizens.
Just a thought. |
