Bench-clearing brawl at the end of the Xavier-Cincinnati game with 9 seconds left. Multiple punches were thrown; it looks like Yancy Gates is going to be suspended for a few games.

Gates could cost 10+ games and maybe the season. He was throwing a lot of punches and took a horrible cheap shot on Frease. Bloodied him and looked like his eye was swollen shut. Could have killed the guy.

Vols blow a double-digit lead & lose at home to previously 1-9 Austin Peay.

The reality check just showed up in Knoxville

Ben Brust is the only reason the Badgers are winning this game by 15 at this point. He's 6 of 6 from three point land today. Along with his three point barrage and some home court benefit from the refs the Badgers look to lock this one up with just five to go....

and as I type this 4-0 run... lol

Aye aye... 7-0 run now. Was hoping to keep the Rebels below 50 this afternoon. That'll be tough now.

Sure, it was a cheap win against Ohio State with their stud out but I'll still take the win for Kansas. Ohio State was really missing Sullinger today as it looked like Buford was the only one who they could rely on to score.

62-51 loss to my native state's Badgers. Honestly it's a loss I expected. Oh well, I'm sure Rice will cook up a good learning experience for the players from this one.

Hoosiers take a 1-point lead into the half versus Kentucky. The team is playing sloppy but scrappy. Let's take these guys out.

Indiana basketball is back. Glad to see a school actually stick with a coach and give him a chance to build a program back up.

I bailed on them when they hired Ralph Sampson. Dude was horrible for college basketball and destroyed the program. Special to see that happen again. Damn if they didn't suck me back in.

Yeah, that was really interesting. It felt more like a mid major knocking off a major in their only change. But instead, it's because IU thinks they're back and they may be right.

So glad to see IU basketball back, especially against Kentucky because it will really get the fan base excited. I am a big fan of Crean and despite the rough early years, I loved his energy. Great win for the program.

It's so awesome that in the past month we've seen two #1 seeds get knocked off by programs who were once the among the best in the country and are now back on the rise.

Just because they won this game, doesn't mean they're "back". History is littered with these great one-off upsets from teams who can't sustain the success. Go 10-6 in the B1G, and then I'll call them "back".

They're back in that they are 9-0 and just beat the #1 team. Over the last 3 years or so, IU would have been 2-7 or 4-5 or some shit and lost to Stetson.

I don't think that the Hoosiers are all the way back, but this was the announcement that they're coming. OSU better enjoy their time at the top. Next year's Hoosiers team will be very good. We have a great class coming in. Soon, Indiana will be back at the top of the Big Ten, where they belong.

Welp, no one will be complaining about State's strength of schedule if they're anywhere close to the bubble... (given that they've lost all their games against decent teams except Texas, they may not get to the bubble, though)

Ben McLemore with more problems. First, he fails to qualify to play this year. Then, he gets a minor in possession charge and doesn't tell the coaching staff. He tops it all off by failing to appear for his court date and gets a warrant issued for his arrest.

All of the freshman on the Horns seem to be buying in to Rick Barnes' defensive philosophy. They held Nicholls State to 10 points in the 2nd half tonight. They've had one of the lowest SOS so far this season, but that is going to be ratcheted up the next couple of games, hosting Temple on Saturday then traveling to Chapel Hill to play North Carolina next Wednesday

Wisconsin's offense continues to be very unimpressive at times - but their most efficient defense in the country continues to be just that, tough as nails. Badgers pick up a win on the road at UW Milwaukee. UW-M is going to make a nice run in the Horizon this year - I love to root for them in the tourneys as a WIsconsin team, so hopefully they can sneak in as a 12 seed and be one of those 12 over 5 upsets this year.
