2. No Jane Austin Characters. I think while Jane Austin is a great pick for Female Creator, her characters aren't quite as iconic, as especially among our demographic.

I was thinking we would see Emma show up as a strong choice and was surprised she never made it.

A few others I thought that might show up were:

Moby Dick
Don Quixote

Dola,

I also felt almost completely lost by at least half of the computer game picks.

I picked Moby Dick and I think someone else got Don Quixote.

I had Kermit on my list, but didn't pick him, obviously.

Don Quixote is a very strong character who wasn't picked. I really wish we'd found 10 people since I think 8 people in some ways made it too easy, which is not to disparage the fine drafting job a lot of people did, just that I don't know that they had to reach quite as hard as they would have if we'd had more drafters.

I thought for sure Elizabeth Bennett would go as a female/female pick.

She's created by a Bronte, not Austin. I personally could never get into any of the Brontes novels where as I really enjoy Austin.

which is why I deleted my stupid post.
JUst got uyp and not too together yet. I SWEAR his post was talking about the Brontes, instead of Austin but I so misread it.

I despise Jane Austen.

Jane Eyre, on the other hand, is one of my favorite novels.
