Douby already signed with an agent. I figured he was pegged into the last few picks of the first round, with the possibility of slipping into the 2nd round, which would hurt big-time with a year of eligibility left. But it's been reported that he has a mid 1st round guarantee by a "midwest" team. So yeah, good choice.

EDIT: And to the OP...Douby has beyond-NBA range, is a great slasher who might have the greatest "floater" shot in basketball history, and will have the ability to come off the bench in the NBA and score in bunches. While he's only an adequate one-on-one defender, he's got a great ability at jumping into a passing lane. His size is a detriment. 6'3" and skinny; therefore, too short to match up with most 2's, and not the greatest handle to man the PG spot. That's why he needs to go to a team that will allow him to play combo guard, where he can run around the court, just waiting to find the ball off the right screen before he goes off. He led the Big East in scoring at 27 PPG (league play) and 25.4 overall, even though he was literally our only option and teams swarmed him.

Jeeber,

Very impressive 1st quarter for the Mavericks. With LeBron and the Cavs out, I'm rooting for the Mavericks now. However, Dirk is scary looking up close in HD

The Mavs are determined not to have Duncan beat them tonight. Jason Terry is shooting out of his mind.

When Desagna Diop has more points than fouls against you something isn't going to plan.

The Spurs ALWAYS make a run in the second half. I know the Mavs aren't going to keep shooting 77% in the second half, so hopefully they can step up their D a bit and keep things steady.

I think the Spurs will begin to run the offense through Ginobili more and have him the action and draw fouls. He only has three shot attempts.

Thank god for Keith Van Horn (never thought I would utter that phrase)...

Just one more quarter to go. Hopefully we've weathered Spurs run...

There was an article in the Dallas Morning News today about how this has been the closest playoff series since the Bulls-Jazz finals. Take out the 22 point blowout in game 2 and the winning margin is less than 3ppg...

And yes, the rest of the series have been great as well.

From the last few minutes, I think it probably does..

Should be a very interesting final 5:34.

Yeah, The Curse seems to be in fine form tonight. I'm almost wondering if I should avoid the Suns/Clippers game.

This is going to be absolutely devestating for the Mavs psyche if they lose this game tonight.

And we're right where we were in game 6 when the Mavs couldn't execute. Combine that with the fact that we can't buy a bucket and things are looking grim...

Wow, what were the Spurs thinking? You're up by 3, Nowitzki is going to the hoop. Just let him have the 2 points. Committing the foul was not very bright.

I don't watch much basketball at all, but what the hell was with the Mavs continuing to ignore Dirk for the last 6 minutes? Who the hell is Jason Terry and why was he taking shots like Kobe on speed down the stretch? That guy single-handedly killed them.

Dirk with a huge block on the put back.. Duncan didn't get that call (which might have been a foul.)

No matter how many calls Duncan gets during a game (I haven't been watching this game tonight), he's an idiot if he thinks he's getting that call with less than a second to go.

I know that. However, they have given Duncan some questionable foul calls tonight, but that looked like a clear foul IF it wasn't 1 second left.

Nice ball movement by the Mavs late there. Hopefully, they can win. I'm tired of the Spurs (and Pistons and Suns....and Heat..)
