its strange how you can have first and goal...and get a bunch of penalites and come up with being able to still get a first down after all the mucky-muck

agreed. no matter who i am rooting for. it's starting to calm down and it should be a dogfight if the penalties don't keep coming into play.

Randle El is missing his calling as a soccer player. Every single time he's involved in a play, it seems he's whining to the referees about something.

Just saw the hit on Palmer. It didn't look like his knee buckled too much, so hopefully it's not a tear.

The Steelers bailed out Cincy twice on that one posession, ridiculous. I see the second half as being about the Cincy defense. I think their offense is slowing down, so they're going to need to contain Pitt to hang on.

Great game so far.

You never know though. Sometimes a play that looks like nothing is 1 or more torn ligaments... and vice versa. I hope for his sake it's nothing too bad.

Palmer apparently thinks there are two torn ligaments, but the MRI is not yet complete. Sounds like he's certainly done for the playoffs.

question is...was palmer's injury the result of his previous injuries last year? while the injury didn't seem that bad today, it may have been compounded by the injury he had last year. i guess i don't know.

oh...GREAT MISSED FG ATTEMPT!!!

Probably not. I believe there is some evidence that there is genetic predisposition to ACL injuries.

I think people that get their knees rolled on by big burly men would be fairly predisposed to ACL injuries too.

my question lies in the wonder if knees get stronger after an injury or is it like a sprain (where it never really heals).

Randle-El should have had the TD (on replay he would have).. but doesn't matter. They got it anyway.

Perfect execution and route running.

EDIT: Not sure who the CB was who left Wilson open to try and cover the throwback to Big Ben, but was he really worried about him catching the ball and taking off on a run?

And now Kitna is running for his life back there.

4th quarter and time for a steady dose of Parker and Bettis.

There you go.. Randle-El was jobbed out of a TD by the refs, so he decides to get the assist instead .

Great play by Farrior? all he ahd to do was catch a weak ass throw right in his chest.

THIS is exactly why we went after Palmer, Kitna cannot make NFL throws when they are needed.

C y'all next year, this ride is down for repairs.

I really wish we could find a defense. I keep getting my hopes up, but my coaching staff keeps failing me. I've never been a Bresnahan fan. his defenses are too gimicky.
