I'm guessing darker blue, cuervo.
How tough would a plain black helmet with black face mask be to create? I was debating having numbers on the side of the helmet but can't decide. |

I wish I had design skills. I have no idea what to do with my team, the Detroit Kitties, logo.

The helmet is a bit "busy", though that's my fault for having a rather complex logo. If you find time to maybe make it a little simpler, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for the current helmet, though! ~kyle

Thanks guys, I really like all of those. I think I like the Portland one, and the one that Neuq put up. Is there a way to change the Portland color to orange? I love that horrible color.

It is the latest enhancement in the Army of Crawfish with Laser Blasters instead of Claws, they no longer need water. The helmet looks good to me.

Curevo and McKerney - you guys are the bomb, yo. Thanks very much for your time, it's appreciated and the helmet and logo are fantastic.
BreizhManu - You got some nice looking mudfish, I hope that's different than a mudbug, or else I might have to bring you to court for infringement on my infringement of a copyright. |

A bit different style than the rest, but thought you might get kick out of this helmet.. Sorta in keeping in your world domination theme in HT. Sorta hoping I can get two countries instead of one now when you take over the world
Logos a little tough to make out at this size, but wanted to keep it close in size to the other submissions. (although at desktop wallpaper size I must admit it looks pretty sweet ) -Eilim |

RPI - let me know what you think of this one. I made a little cleaner logo which I think is still engineer related. Not much yellow, but I think it looks pretty sharp.

VERY nice work on that one cuervo, you have a damned good eye for this. What are you doing/using to change the facemask colors? do you have a set you just copy into each one or what? I have a helluva time with those. let me know if you have some decent helmet templates too, I'm working off a bunch of older images. |

Fabulous - one small tiny request, if it's possible (may be difficult to do, and if so, that's fine.) Could you just darken in every 5th line (vertical and horizontal) on that graph paper. That would make it truly "engineering" paper, and I would, officially, "Owe you one". Thanks! ~kyle

Thanks Ren. Yeah, for someone with mainly a mathematical mind I still have some creativity and a decent eye for things now and then.
Colors...well, my biggest benefit here is having photoshop available. What I will do is find a helmet that is roughly what I need from the Helmets,...(et al) site. In this case, it was the Dolphins. Most of the time I will then go to Image>Adjust>Replace Color. Basically does a hue/saturation/lightness adjustment, but targeted. The images on the helmets site are quite clean, so it is usually easy to isolate colors (but not always, stripes still are pretty tricky). The first adjustment here took care of the outer stripe and the facemask. The second was for the inner stripe. These stripes were a little better because they are separated by a small white stripe. Where did you get the panther logo? Oh, and does the latest Blue helmet look purple? I thought it looked blue, but I may be off a little. Time to go check into the forum of the league I actually belong to, I think there may be some requests over there too
