It's a saved game reload bug -- if you've advanced in that season, you won't get that scholie back until next season.

If you ever reload a save of a game in the middle of a season, the very first thing to do is to check your recruit attributes. If they are still completely intact (A-, B, C+, etc w/o the ? mark), you're fine. If not, exit the game, power cycle your box, and reload.

Thanks for your responses, dacman! A 50%-60% shot is good enough--I was just afraid I was wasting too many recruiting points on guys I had no shot at unless I became their #1 choice. (And I do have some backups--a PF who has me listed as his top choice with no scholarship offers, as well as a couple of World recruits.) Of course, this leads to a follow-up question that just popped into my mind...I assume, then, it's possible to not sign a recruit who has your school listed as his top choice?

As for redshirting, on further searching, I found a thread on Operation Sports that seems to indicate you can redshirt a Juco transfer, so that backs up your thoughts. Thanks again! As with the first question, I wanted to be sure I wasn't wasting my time on someone who didn't fit into my team's future plans the right way, no matter how highly he's rated.

that great, i just going to hold off and get it when it comes out in November.

this thread got great reviews for 2k5. hoping 2k6 will be even better.

With Ncaa 2006 as my first xbox game. looks like Madden 2006 and Espn College Hoops 2k6 will be my next 2 games.

that EA March Madness college basketball 2006 looks pretty good too. it wil have in season recruiting too.

but from reading here it seems like Espn college hoops is more better.
