Horrific end of game play by Xavier at the end of this game. They will get what they deserve when they lose.

UConn hires Dan Hurley. Great for me, because I rarely watch American conference basketball so I won't have to see his whining face on the sidelines at URI anymore.

Caleb Martin looking like a pro in this Loyola-Nevada game. It was ugly, but it picked up at the end.

Hilariously, Wichita State leaves to MVC because they wanted to be in a multi-bid league and MVC sends a team to the Elite 8 anyway, lolz.

But they were 25-7, the 3rd best team in the AAC, lost in the semi's of the conference tournament, and got a 4 seed. Last year they went 30-4 while winning the conference tournament, were ranked in the top 20, and got a 10 seed, while the other 17-1 MVC team who was 27-6 overall was left out completely. Meanwhile this year Loyola was 28-5 with at least one very good OOC road win and got an 11 seed, and quite possibly would've been left out if they had lost in their conference tournament.

I think it's funny when other MVC coaches subtweet Wichita State, but their rationale looks pretty smart, and personally I'd save my ire for the selection committee that continually underseeds MVC teams.

I remember when Rutgers was pursuing them as transfers from NC State, there was a consistent thought out there of "how good can they be if they ended up at Nevada?!"

I haven't seen Nevada play this year and missed their first 2 games in the tournament. So I'm watching last night and thinking to myself, "Wow! That guy is incredible. He's everywhere!" Much easier to be everywhere when there are two of you.

Either way I get some sort of a win tonight. Not a fan of Syracuse, but would like to see them beat the Dookies.

I just need Nova to get to the Championship game to win one of my groups. There's a pretty good chance at least 2 of the 3 refs are in the same position as me. That double technical was terrible.

Just wish it was a fun underdog and not Syracuse. (No offense to this current years team, maybe they are a good "underdog comes together later in the season" story, but they're not a historical upstart & the Boeheim snippets I've heard make them sound pretty bad to watch play.)

If I get Michigan, Nova, and Kansas to the Final 4 with a Final where Nova beats Michigan, I will win my pool and several hundred dollars.

Now that Clemson is out, that's what i need.

On a serious note, good luck. Would like to see Nova win it all. Would continue a nice local run.

Not Villanova or Duke or Kansas.

If Texas Tech somehow gets through, I suppose KState or Loyola or FSU might make that interesting.

I guess I just don't see how it's foregone that it's impossible to see one of those teams do something similar to what Syracuse just got done doing, playing Duke close. YMMV.

I just saw the second half. Was Kansas State running a one pass and shoot offense for the whole game?

The Michigan win gave me a whopping 1 of the final four teams right.

My espn bracket jumped from 22% to 61.8%

Michigan faced a 14, 6, 7, 9 thus far and need to beat an 11 to get to the finals.

Jevon Carter played in 3 sweet 16 games over his 4 years and each year faced a 1 seed with a combined record of 102-5.

If Nova gets a lead late, with every single starter over 70% (and 4 of the 5 over 80) it’s going to be almost impossible to haul them back in.

Don't disagree, but he also should have picked up his 5th on that baseline play when he bumped the KU guy who ended up getting called OOB when neither the ball or his foot ever touched the line.

He almost hit the shot, but yeah it was painfully obvious to everyone that he wasn't going to pass and that made defending a lot easier.

Yeah, yesterday finally brought my women's bracket crashing back to earth. Still 76.8% but my delusions of grandeur have ended.

University of Texas-Arlington fired Scott Cross for some reason or another. Maybe they got tired of 20-win seasons? Keep an eye on him. Helluva coach and wouldnt be surprised if he got one of those higher-level mid-major programs.

My daughter goes to UTA so I've been following the team this year. While they did underachieve based on projections, I thought they played very well and a 20 win season is nothing to sneeze at. Not sure what the administration is looking for as far as results from the team. Will be interesting to see whom they bring in and where Cross ends up.

As a fan of a fellow Sun Belt member, I'm very happy to see him move on. Does seem like a bit of a strange move to make though.
