Also, are wands only usable by certain people or can anybody wave them around?

Hell, its the 13th day, I'll answer that, I'm feeling chipper.

Every day there are two random doors that appear in the dungeon that take people to places they would not normally be able to get to. After a player takes that door, it closes behind them, since there was never really a door there to begin with at all.

I believe three players have moved through such doors in the game so far.

And that's all you are getting out of me about the place, so no more questions.

Abe,

Can Wizards use spears? I'm leaning towards no?

Staffs and daggers. No spears. Spears are just staffs with points? Nope, they require much more finesse, just like scimitars compared to daggers. You get the simplest of weapons.

He drops to his knees and says a brief prayer to a nameless deity.

With only a brief final glance to the right, he forces his mounting dread back and heads left, into the blackness, into the unknown horrors that await...

Whether or not I'm dead in a few hours, it's been fun everyone.

Does that mean you're heading to the darkest of the darkest bricks? What level are you?

As mentioned earlier, I do have a +1 staff if you're interested.

It does 1-6 [in D&D terms] vs. the dagger, which traditionally does 1-4 in damage.

Ah, that explains why I saw a door in a location where there wasn't one from the other side.

Have I mentioned that I have a +1 longsword for sale. It's quite the weapon (for those of you that don't have a sentient death instrument on your hip).

I also have a sword that needs to be identified but since I don't wield a sword, I'm not spending cash on it.

I am giving you good warning now. A massively major event has just occurred in my building, the kind that can make the news. I have already set up an emergency floor meeting for one of my floors.

I do NOT believe this will interfere in any way with the deadlines and such, but it may mean I am not around as much to answer questions and help during the day, so I am giving you a fair warning now.
