Yeah, we can try to go together for a bit. I worry that you'll do all the fighting for a while as I just leveled up. And unfortunately, I don't have the Eternal Flame anymore. I traded it (among other stuff) to PackerFanatic for my friend here (pats Xeenthrax and begins to pet him). |

The Jackal, I'm not sure which direction you came from, but I was planning on staying in the same color bricks for now (for me that means turning left), but it might mean you'd be going back into a room you were just in.

Hey, PackerFanatic.
Any chance you would be interested in the Prestige Item "dyes" for the Eternal Flame? I can tell you with certainty that the Flame is not part of your prestige item. Let me know. |

If it gets too hairy and I'm too close to dying too often I'll split from you so you can do the fighting - but hopefully we run into rooms with multiple monsters so we can split it up and help each other. Though I'm sure Xeenthrax doesn't need my help.

Ugh Jackal,
I've never hesitated to send items back to people who ask me to ID things for them, I would have sent the antidote potion back to you even if you had wanted it. I would trade something for your potion if I hadn't spend all my money at the djinn market. Will you be angry with me if I keep the potion and promise to give you first choice of an item I find in my later travels? No I won't tell you what the potion is yet. |

I mean Thom, that puts me in a weird position. It seems like this is something I'd be able to use and might benefit me, because if it was a non-cleric item you'd probably just ask me for dibs. Concealing the potion is just making me wonder why you'd do that, so I guess I need to think it over. I don't know if black market posts are binding or what not - if this potion isn't very beneficial to me I don't have a problem giving it to you.. but if it does help me and I want it - I did find it.

I understand Jackal. It's not in my nature really to do something like this. I'm sure there are a few here who would have drank it without worrying about the consequences since its just a game. It's beneficial to anyone in the game no matter what class you are. |

Well, you are free to do what you want. I don't know if the "return" in the Black Market is binding. If it is.. I'd like my potion back. This isn't really in my nature either but I do want to win and I found the potion .. so if I'm giving up something that's going to seriously improve my chances that'd be a bad play.
If you want to stop giving me free ID's, I understand. |

If you feel you must drink it, there is at least one item I'm going to want later that I know of, and I'll just expect you'll do everything you can to help me.

hey team amigos - any thought on how we want to divide up going out to the island versus searching around the edge of the lake?

I believe Abe said early on the return part of black market trades are not binding, so you'd have to ask him. And of course I would send it back if he said they were. I'd most certainly keep giving you free ID's and if its within my power to get that item you are looking for in the future I will. And I would apologize for doing this to you of course. |

I have said numerous times that the return clauses you folks insist on attaching are nonbinding.

I truly suspect neither of you are chesapeake. In fact, that's what I am going with. From now on, the "chesapeake" I was travelling with is The Other Cleric. And the new chesapeake is The Mage. I think The Other Cleric has been thinking my seeing him as chesapeake was due to an issue of my own. Apparently, it is actually something to do with him. Oh The Mage, would you like to join Team Trout and adventure with us? Your magical powers will no doubt be quite useful, and we can provide you with healing and armored protection. If so, just say you will join Team Trout (in bold). ntndeacon is the leader. We have been here before (the bandit room), so it's likely we will start going toward the darker bricks. But I haven't been question The Other Cleric, ntndeacon, on the directions he has been taking us, so you would have to ask him to be sure.
