Hoops said we have to play it out...but ill be up front, and if we lose because of it such is, i think it will take you guys a minimum of 5 days to kill us off. And we have 2 of the 12 left, and a night kill coming tonight.

I dunno. I'm not convinced it would take that long to get you guys if we play it right (which, incidentally, we haven't done all game). But you're right about the issues with the quantity of heroes remaining.

That should spend all 10 of my energy, so if thats not right let me know and ill work the numbers again. Appreciate it hoops

Day 9 results, end of game

The enemies stand revealed to the heroes at this point, but do they have the strength to make a stand?

Daredevil initiates the attack on Moon Knight, who is quickly decided upon as the group target. Mathemanic strikes next, restricting his revival power. Perfect - now it is up to the others to finish the job. Moon Knight calls upon Khonshu to save him ... just in time, as the Hulk comes a calling. His angry blow is stopped in midair.

Moon Knight moves on to attack SpiderMan, firing a series of attacks that the wallcrawler dodges. But it wears him out for the onslaught from Silver Sufer and Apocalypse. Peter Parker is unable to stand against their combined might. The last of the Twelve falls to the ground and a rush of energies emerge, rushing into the transforming body of Mandarin!

"This conflict is over - the Horsemen are the strong and the remainder of you are judged as weak. Be gone from my sight!" He waves his hand, and each of the heroes are hurtled from the ship - their fate unknown.

Moon Knight survived the beating on this day. He and Silver Surfer begin their preparations to lead Apocalypse's armies against a decimated world.

I loved this game and thought it was run EXTREMELY well, but I honestly think I got shafted (after looking at the other powers). My only real powerful abilty was totally dependant on others, whereas everyone else could choose their own strategy. It was frustrating.

On the other hand, I played to have fun and NEVER break character (which I never did). I did have a blast, but my self-restraints (and mistakes) might have cost us a bit in the game.

Anyway, congratulation to the classy individuals among the bad guys, and thanks to hoops and Tyrith for a great game.

Yeah, that was something that kind of didn't work out right. It would have worked a lot better if you were bad or a member of the 12, because then there would be a much higher likelyhood you'd have gotten hit.

Schmidty, the HULK SMASH was actually lifted from the Hulk in one of the other games I listed in the first post. In that game, the character who played Hulk (who was also quite good at roleplay) asked others to attack him from time to time to help build his rage.

As far as a part 2 - I'm on the list to run another game at some point. I have some ideas about a sequel, but would like to hear from people if they would be interested in trying this type of game again or if it worked best as a one-time deal?

If you would be interested in trying this format again, what kind of changes would you like to see implemented? What worked well and what didn't?

Unusually poorly played by good, I thought, although I certainly didn't distinguish myself by my performance. Whatever suspicions I may have developed on a couple of characters, I still talked myself out of them.
