team - i think splitting up would be sensible within the room - someone searching around the lake while others go out to it?

Well... We just eviscerated 3 Pegasi. It wasn't pretty. I think Xeenthrax made a point of killing in the most bloody way possible. He seemed to enjoy that.

He didn't have much to say, though, during the battle. He did let me know that he wanted me to go into the darkest set of bricks instead of the path I chose. That is kind of worrying.

Oh and he is eating my gold as we speak.

I cannot believe the magicks that must have been consumed to create this incredible dungeon. For instance our group entered the next room only to find out that it was not a room at all, but a small lake with an island in the middle of it! My mind boggles at the spells that must have been used to create such a wonder!

We now have the option to take a boat to the island to explore what may be there. I don't think my curiousity will let me leave without venturing to that island.

(I checked with the DM, we can all take the boat, not just one of us)

Pass, the room with the giant spider and mushrooms I believe to be a random battle room. I encountered a snow imp, who despite being made more powerful due to the increased coldness of the dungeon was completely overmatched by me. As I entered he ran out from behind one of the mushrooms. I cast cause serious wounds and he fell dead. I was not able to locate the giant spider you spoke so highly of.

The orb said the time when people's questions would get answered would be different. Mine hasn't been answered either. We don't know what the mechanism is - it could be days until you get an answer. No sense in being impatient.
