Or the Vikes can blame the 6 fumbles and 2 int's...the rules are the rules...let's all get over it already as each team had plenty of chances to win in regulation.

It's possible that two of the last three seasons Favre's final pass of the season was an interception that cost his team a trip to the Super Bowl...

The interesting thing is the Saints are a jinxed team so I am not sure if the football gods even like them.

Why the hell are the Saints getting conservative now? Maybe they think they have a better chance to win if the ball is in the Vikings hands.

Well said. Also if I'm Jared Allen, or any other member of the Vikings defense, I would seriously want to beat the shit out of AP, Favre, or anyone else who fumbled.

I want the Vikings to win, because I think they'll give us a better Super Bowl. Peyton Manning and the Colts won't make this many mistakes two Sunday's from now, I know that much.

Meh. The College OT can sometimes be just as unfair. The team that gets the ball 2nd has a huge advantage in knowing how much they have to score. And it's silly that they start already in FG range.

doesn't change the fact that the overtime rule is stupid. the two aren't mutually exclusive

Well, I doubt that the Vikings would turn the ball over 6 times again. They might, but who knows. The fact that the Vikings turned the ball over 6 times and the Saints still can't put them away says a lot.

True, but in this case only about half of them were his fault. I just think that the Vikings defense is better than the Saints, and therefore will give us a better Super Bowl, no matter what Favre does.

I don't think that can be overturned - the ball never came out so he should get forward progress.

Either way, it's not going to be conclusive enough to reverse the play on the field.

Think the spot was favorable, but also think he got a first down regardless, and not sure there is any evidence to the contrary.

Back from the Colts game, what a nerve racking game.

That's a tough call to make when the QB is really just throwing the ball away.

In this case you have to go with substance over form.

I never liked the "uncatchable" ruling anyways. I mean, they don't take back a holding call against the RT if the play went towards the LT.
