Just a note for those who played back when the game was released but gave it up after all the crap that went on.

Season 2 (BETA) is starting up now, so now would be a good time to hop back on board. Here is what has been fixed/added since Season 1.

- STABLE SERVERS!
- Defense is implemented
- Baserunning is implemented
- Player tactics can be set now
- Relegation/Promotions after each season for the leagues.
- Box Scores!

Our team finished 23-10 last season and went to the Conference Championship, falling a couple games short of the championship.

Really, the game is a lot better now (it actually simulates baseball now), so check it out.

Here's the rub with these things..

I'm way too turned off by the first season of this game. It would take multiple people on here telling me that it is a fantastic game for me to try it again.

It's still a beta in case you didn't remember. Albeit a beta where you can purchase upgrades........

I really don't want to get into this argument, but this game is not in "beta". Or should I say: I don't think beta means what you think it means.

I argue with people over at MMO fairly often about this. A game in beta is a game that has full functionality but needs to be tested. This game was thrown out there with about 10% of the functionality completed and not working. That is not what a beta is. No matter how much people what to defend it, the process has been a complete disaster.

Man I've been training all my players a lot, but really don't know how long i can keep it up, there are some serious bugs that they haven't fixed. It's very easy to put the same player starting multiple positions, I could simply get a team, put a few CPU players, and then put 1 guy starting at 8 spots.... So who knows, they took forever off between seasons, and it really doesn't seem much closer to being a decent working game. I guess I found GLB in season 3, and it was working- this is not even close.
