I'd be suprised if the Jets took him. Aren't they really high on Kellen Clemens?

If GB wants Revis he'll probably be there. I'd imagine St.L takes Carriker, then Carolina takes out of the Olsen, Quinn, and Hall group. Pittsburgh will probably go defense, although if they don't want a linebacker Revis is a possibility.

If St. Louis takes Carriker, I'm thrilled with who is on the board for the Steelers.

Hopefully we steer clear of Timmons...

...and Jags will probably fo with Reggie Nelson at safety, but D-line depth is also a need for the team.

Who do you want Swaggs? I like Revis at 15, but guys like the interior linemen and Spencer would be in a trade down situation. As with you, I will not be happy at all with Timmons.

Crap!

So close to getting Carriker on the Packers. He is who I wanted them to take if he fell to them. I thought there was an actual chance with the way things had been going....

Reggie Nelson should be there. Alan Branch, Jarvis Moss would also be options.

I'd like to see us trade down and get Poz, Staley, or Grubbs.

If we stick here, I'm hoping for Leon Hall.

What about you?

I like Revis at 15. Would like Spencer, Grubbs or Blalock in the early 20s, Poz if we moved into the mid 20s.

I am surprised at the lack of trades. I seams like every team had a rumor about them, with that much smoke you would think one would happen.

Never mind....

That makes two of us. I was also happy when Miami took Ginn Jr. I want the Packers going defense in the first round. Take a RB and/or WR in rounds 2 and 3.

That's really pricey for just a cornerback. I hope they have a curveball in store.

Jets fans went from happy to bitching when they heard what the jets gave up. That was funny.

It doesn't seem totally insane to me. There are a lot of talent evaluators that think this draft really drops off in the 15-20 range, so the Jets have moved up into the range of the really good players -- there wouldn't be a talent like Hall or Revis on the board at 25 (except perhaps Brady Quinn). What's the value of one really good player versus two solid ones? *shrug* And the Jets really do need a CB.

Haha. Great reaction by the Jets fans. They were waiting for the name and were ready to boo whoever it was.

I think they wanted a surprise like Quinn. They clamor for the big name and neither team ever plays into their hands. Well, I guess the Eli year the Giants did. But....not often.

The draft chat on ESPN's DraftCast is full of some great UIC. One guy asked how a Heisman Trophy winner could be projected as a 3rd round pick and after the Jets traded up 3 or 4 people immediately posted that they were moving up to grab Quinn.

What a disappointing and uninspiring pick. The guy is way too small to play OLB in the 3-4. I hope he proves me wrong, but Tomlin's first pick as of today is a big let down.

They grab a goddamn workout warrior LB who's agent is Rosenfuck when there had to be a better opportunity to grab 4-5 other players who will be better pros.
