I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I was kind of following along on the messageboards. It sounded like we pulled the starters and then the 2nd teamers started playing like crap (fumbling, making bad decisions, etc), so Coach put White and Owen back in to run the clock down and he got hurt somehow. Everyone was bitching about the decision to put him back in.

I haven't seen anything on the scout.com board since then, so hopefully he'll be ready to go on Thursday.

It could get interesting for the Big East if Boise State loses tonight, as we could manage to get two teams into the BCS.

A not too unlikely scenario if Cal beats Southern Cal and then Southern Cal beats Notre Dame. If that were to happen, and perhaps it would take another upset or two, the winner of Rutgers-WVU and Louisivlle could both get BCS bids.

Dick Tomey has done a heckuva job getting San Jose State bowl eligible. For a long time they could be counted on for 3 or fewer wins per season. If he can pull off the upset of the Smurfturfers, that'll be a huge win for the program.

Texas has an efficient march down the field, but run into some problems on 1st and goal at the 2. They get it in on 4th down, but apparently Colt McCoy got a neck stinger on the sneak. We'll have to see if he can shake it off.

Colt McCoy for sure won't be back. So it'll be up to Jevan Snead to manage the offense the rest of the game. At the beginning of the season, most people thought he'd be the starter by the Oklahoma game. Time for him to step up.
