I'm looking for Dan Marino and Ken O'Brien, but I don't see them.

Awwwwe.

Good stuff. Now Wisconsin gets to face the undefeated Hawkeyes at Camp Randall. Should be a much better game than today. Fewer mistakes will be made than today, I imagine.

Iowa will open up as 3.5 point favorites me thinks.

Of course, they're politely forgetting that Amato was egomaniacal which resulted in a revolving door of coordinators in particular and that while Amato's defenses were stout, they were also terribly undisciplined and heavily penalized, things the fans wanted changed under a supposedly more disciplined coach like TOB.

With the basketball team expected to be mediocre or worse this year, it looks to be a long winter of discontent in west Raleigh right now.

I am serious when I say you can have him back, he is a colossus jackass and I wish he never came back.

After seeing the replay it does look like the receiver just stopped running and would have probably been an incomplete pass had he kept running the fly pattern... oh well. Not sure I'd have him in there anyways.

Good work by Iowa. They played hard and took advantage of some self inflicted wounds by two young QB's. That said I am pleasantly surprised Michigan made such a game of it. Now it's time to right the ship vs Delaware State (god I hope) and get ready Penn State.

That was a tough choice. Our offense had 4 straight three and outs with Tate in and Denard got us a TD, but it he has problems as a passer. I know I wouldn't want to be in his shoes having to make that choice.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I know you're serious. I didn't know if some State fans I've been reading were serious (and absolutely out of their skulls in the process).

did the announcers in the tech game just refer to Reggie Ball as a "productive QB" from Georgia Tech's past???

Maybe they meant "counter-productive" but said the other, kind of like the triple option "wishbone" description.

And a bad pitch by Nesbitt gives FSU the ball & momentum.

Holy cow, what a drop by Fortson. I think he was so alone it scared him, thought he had swine flu or something, nobody wanted to be around him.

edit: I think that play illustrates why we were dropping Derrick Morgan into coverage around the goal line. Our secondary couldn't cover middle school receivers.

WTF was Nesbitt thinking there? Don't start throwing the ball up for grabs now.

If you've been watching Tech this year, you knew Josh was going to keep the ball after that helmet to helmet personal foul. He's developing a tough streak sure as the world.

edit: Okay Josh you made your point, three straight carries, we get it. Now run the rest of the offense too

Oh wow. RB fumbles, FSU recovers, Nesbitt snatches it away and gets it back.

I'm betting on another personal foul and/or face mask shortly. FSU is getting frustrated & they're tackling around the head consistently now.

Nesbitt just ate 'em up with help from good blocking downfield. 49-38 with 6:29 left.

One thing I've always wondered about two point conversions is that it doesn't seem like teams run enough in that situation.
