I see why Cutler has a losing record as a starter. Bears dominating this game yet they cant put many points on the board because Cutler keeps throwing ints. Classic Cutler, makes an absolutely great pass to Knox for a Td and follow it on the next possession with a terrible throw.

Cutler is a gunslinger, but throws too many knucklehead balls , and too many picks.

reminds me of Brett Favre.

speaking of Brett. He is top 3 in passer rating, comp % and TD's now in the NFL this year. geezus, how the hell? I know he will most likely fall apart at the end of the season. But was he THIS good at the beginning of last season for the jets? anyone remember?

I doubt he falls apart. Life is good for him. Everyone he throws to is single covered and he is well protected.

He hasn't been fired, but play calling has been taken away from Zorn.

I'm a huge Giants fan ( we all know this) but I feel bad for Jason Cambell. I have no idea if he could be a top QB but the guy has never had a chance for any continuity. Not 6 games in he will have to deal with someone else calling plays and more change.

I'd love to see Favre have a solid - great year and not fall apart, cause last year was cringe worthy when he was forcing those balls, and making dumb ass mistakes. and then after this season, RETIRE for good (no, really for real real this time.) and join John Madden for some Turducken.

I agree to, He's had so many different coaches/coordinators/people calling plays, and thus different offenses to learn and go through. He just hasn't had a shot at any consistency.

Still though, I must agree with what I said earlier:

except he will never be nearly as good as Favre. although Favre is still over rated, and always will be.

Just purusing through PFT, it seems like a really rough week for injuries for a lot of teams.

Bad call there by the ref. Should have been Atlanta's ball still. Hopefully it doesn't come back to hurt Atlanta

Also its really weird, to me Jay Cutler seems to be sucking and having a craptastic game. But I just looked at his stats, and besides the 2 picks, they really arn't that bad.

Honestly.. which NFC teams are heads and tails better right now?

Saints

Who else?

The Giants probably are better but they were really exposed today.
Vikings? They might be better than the Falcons but wern't super impressive.

The Falcons crushed the 49ers, I don't think the Cowboys are better... The Falcons only lost to the Patriots thus far who is a pretty solid team.

Overall, I would put the Falcons as the 3rd or at worst 4th best team in the NFC right now.

Not sure why you think they are worse.

During a season in which good is bad, great is awful, and okay is bleh or rocking, you gotta admire the Falcons for being consistent. Playoffs last year and 4-1 this on.

I'm a Bears fan and I wouldn't call them good. I'd say average to slightly above average. Don't have a great coaching staff and traded a lot to bring in Jeff George 2.0.

Vikings get no love. Just beat one of the best teams in the AFC to go to 6-0 and it wasnt that impressive They did lose half their secondary today which allowed the Ravens to come back. Vikings were dominating the game at the point Winfield went down. If my memory serves correct they were ahead 30-14 in the 4th quarter. Winfield, Benny Sapp, AP, and Harvin all were banged up within a short span which made things get interesting.

With that said The Falcons are a pretty solid all around ballclub. Very well coached and they dont make bonehead mistakes like the team they played tonight.
