For tonight, and through Day 12, you may ask one simple rules based question of the DM and you will receive an answer.

In order to ask your questions, you must send me a pm entitled "Orb of Insight". Don't add it to your usual actions.

This can be about virtually any aspect of the game, and can give you a chance to look under the hood. Exactly how much damage does your weapon do? What are the exact + on a special magic item? What are the benefits and negatives of Go Berzerk? What are the benefits of Weapon Specialization? How much damage does the Ring, "Ram" deal or a Dart of Wounding? How much XP is needed for me to level up? Who had the most XP? What Prestige Parts are needed to collect the item for my class? How many rooms are in the dungeon? What is the technical name for this room? What is the exact chance for a Dvergr to find a secret door? Or me to disarm a trap?

You can also use it as a free ID. What exactly does this unidentified item do?

You cannot ask multiple questions. What are the chance I can succeed for each of my scout skills? That won't get answered. Show me the XP chart for my class wont get answered.

You cannot ask predicative questions. "Can I go to level 3?" "Will it be easy for me if I go forward?"

You cannot ask: How many HP does the monster I just killed have? What is in this chest I found? These are not game rules and may be preditative.

You also may NOT collaborate on your questions. You cannot say what you are asking before you ask it, and you may not collaborate with any fellowship of which you may be a part.

After you recieve your answer, you may share it, lie about it, or hold it.

The Orb of Insight is tricky, and you may or may not receive the information right away. Different people may get it at different times.

Good luck!

I think this makes up for those buttons KWhit was pushing.

My wife was in labor 30 hrs with our little one. It was a long tiring couple of days and the day after she was so tired she literally would fall asleep between sentences. But yeah, it was a fantastic feeling. How's your wife holding up?

Please accept the team and move us if you can. I'll try to check in sometime later today, but I can't promise anything. I'm at a site today that may or may not give me net access.

I'd hate to waste my Orb of Enlightenment question on it, and it wasn't in the rules: Does anybody know how a Cleric gets his spells back? I'm going under the assumption that, in lieu of an evening action, I'm doing some prayer and getting them back that way before I go to sleep.

Any other opinions?

I guess I don't really have a morning action - unless I can get some kind of assurance from the DM that searching the room again I won't stupidly try to open the box and get in PF's way and get myself hurt again...lol

Barring a miracle reprive later today, we may have an issue later on today.

I just an extra assignemnt from my boss this morning. Here is my schedule for this afternoon:

2:30 - 3:30 Meeting in Student Center to discuss conferences
3:30 - 4:30 - Meeting in Student Center to discus campus issues
4:30 - 5:30 - Take staff shopping for items for program tomorrow
6-8 - Work the Welcome Center and give a presentation to parents

Problem

When do I process movement actions, which can take up to 90 minutes to do?

Possible solution, the 3:30 meeting sometimes gets canceled. There is a chance of that happening.

Otherwise, I'd have to push the movement deadline ahead to 1 pm or back to 8.

So, here is what I am proposing we do today, let me know if you can fit it into your schedules:

Movement Actions due by 8pm:

Afternoon Actions due by Midnight:

Evening actions due by 2 am

Doable? No clue, that's why I am asking

LMK

Boberot,

That's how it normally works for clerics in the D&D world. Mage types study their spellbooks and memorize their spells for the next day and priestly types pray, do rituals, etc and are giventheir spells for the next day.

Since you're a button-pusher, I'm a little worried about giving you back the Efreeti Bottle just yet, especially since it involves the Djinni, and the Djinni sale is coming up -- I don't want to miss out on buying stuff. I've asked the orb of insight what it does, so maybe that will make me feel better. If it doesn't, I think I'd rather wait until after the Djinni sale if it's all right with you

Abe -- if Afternoon actions are going to start that late, can we do them in the morning? I don't think I'll be able to be around for the Djinni sale then.
