The interesting thing, if you follow the CNN tracker, it looks like that Romney does better with women than men, and vice versa for Obama. That doesn't mean neither one are "winning" them, but just an interesting note.

I didn't think it was great when Biden did it (did I say that I did?). But Romney has done it in a much more smug way IMO. But yes...that could very well be my bias there if I did.

I actually think both Obama and Romney are doing it, but then again, my initial thoughts of the moderator being horrible still ring true.

The important difference for the debate audience is that Biden was bullying Ryan but not the moderator. Romney is actually going after the moderator. Tho Obama is starting to do it.

I'm pretty sure the undecideds at this point fit into one of two categories. Liars and the following:

Yeah, I know I sit around totally talking about that three weeks later if I'm not watching Fox News

And Obama just smacked Romney across the face with that response to being called out as not protecting the US.

Instant fact check by the moderator! Awesome.

And Obama just destroyed Romney on foreign policy. Wow.

I thought the Bush answer was a rambling mess. The question about what has Obama done in four years was a good answer for Romney.

Where did that blind trust non-sequitor from Romney come from in the middle of the immigration answer? I can't even figure that out.

Must have been a "zinger" he was told to get in.

Which is funny because Obama turned it around with the "I don't know as my pension's not as big as yours" zinger

What is your opinion on AK-47's Gov?

I agree with the President and feel that kids should get married before they have babies. I also don't understand what the "Fast & Furious" operation was about.

Now to be fair, I'm sure folks watching the debate who are supporting Romney are probably seeing red that the moderator is calling Mitt on his BS as much as Obama is. I can actually see both ways.. moderators are supposed to moderate the debate, not get involved in the arguments themselves.

Again, I would actually think Romney with a Democratic 55-45 Senate and majority in the House would actually be a pretty effective Presidency. I don't think he really has strong convictions and I think he'd just like to have his name attached to things getting done. I think he'd actually try to bend the Senate back to sortof getting things done with good old backroom pork deals.

But, good lord, put him with the current GOP House and a spinless Democratic Senate. Oof.

Even if I believed Romney on economics (which I don't), I don't trust him with SCOTUS appointments, on foreign policy, or on social issues.

Hasn't a Republican Presidency and Democratic-controlled Congress been considered to be the most effective government in the last 40-50 years?
