No kidding...insane...

I think Brady single-handedly killed me in two leagues, and I wasn't even facing him.

I just happened to notice something fairly amazing. Of the 10 players I drafted this season, only 2 remain on my team. Next season I may pick names out of a hat.

The highlight of my season: getting Lance Moore back two days after I cut him. It's going that well.

I know what you mean, I cut Ginn and Evans the week before they had their best games of the season (not that I regret cutting them at this point).

I lost this week to a guy who started somebody on their bye.

It's almost a trend now. I think he won a playoff game last season with an RB slot not filled.

LOL, does this league go that far back? I just remember taking over from a guy in the third round of the first ever draft because the guy dropped out. I think I had Portis and Bulger as my building blocks at the time.

I'm pretty sure you won the league that year. There were some hilarious picks in hindsight.

LOL! Yeah, I tend to forget sometimes to update my team. Usually that works out decently for me, it seems . And yes, I did win a playoff game with an RB slot unfilled...

Have we ever discussed trading of future draft picks? Just wondering where everyone stands on it...

My first two were Chris Chambers and Burress, which I still feel were alright picks. However, my two backups were David Givens and Marcus Robinson. yeesh.

The reason he is asking is I proposed a trade to him where he would get my first round pick next year

Oh ok, well, I don't think it's something we've discussed before but I'm ok with whatever.

The only downside is that since this is a no-money league, what's stopping someone from trading their whole draft and then leaving the league next year?

Well technically we have some amount of time that we can veto a trade if someone made a simply ridiculous offer like that.

For what it's worth, I don't have a problem with trading future draft picks.

Well, it's not a case of the trade being unfair. I just mean, someone can trade their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounders to get decent players for this year... and if it doesn't work out for them, not continue in the league next year. So the person taking the team over might have a nice selection for their three keepers, but then won't draft until round four.

If no one thinks this will be much of a problem, I'm all for trading picks.

I'm fairly comfortable with our group and don't see it as a likely problem, but I don't have a problem putting some limits on it. Maybe you can only trade or trade for next year's picks and you can't trade more than 1-2 future picks?

Keep in mind we'll need some sort of system in place to track all the picks traded...sounds easy enough but it needs to be considered.

It appears the picks can be traded on the site. The only issue is if we switch sites.

this is why I trought of the deal in the first place.

I guess the question is are people cool with us making the trade in season. I don't want to screw up the works. I also remember seeing something where we talked about trading picks.

Yeah, I think that might've been in the original draft of the rules, just that we haven't used it to this point.

Even facing SI when his top two QBs were on a bye, I'm still likely to lose. Thanks for benching Slaton Kubiak (to be honest I agree with him though, I can't remember another decent RB ever losing as many fumbles as he has this season).

you can get 14 points from your defense.

I am 3 points away from getting on track and have 2 guys going tonight. The problem is Reggie Bush is one of them.

I feel ya - I had him going in another league where I had a shot to win yet, so it was bittersweet (although, I only have 1 win in that league, so I'd rather win in this league where I still have a shot)
