Congrats to all of the Cardinals fans on the board. I'll be rooting for them in the Super Bowl.

DeSean broke it to the sideline quite nicely, too bad nobody was smart enough to follow him.

I have to say I HATE this nonsense about how you're supposed to be calling a game differently at the end. If it's PI on the first play of the game, then it's PI late in the 4th quarter, too. I wish announcers would STFU about that.

Wow. Cards in the Super Bowl. I remember the feeling when the Bucs made it earlier this decade. For those of us in the Techmo generation of football fans, it seems pretty improbable

I guess if a Bidwell owned team can make it to the Super Bowl, then I guess I should have some hope that a York owned team can get there...Nah, who am I kidding.

Yeah, it would have and you could see Curtis try stripping it. Oh well, at least this should keep McNabb and Reid in Philly for another year and with a healthy Curtis and further development from DeSean (and hopefully from Reggie but that is less likely), I like their chances for another run next year.

Nice to see the Cards go to the Superbowl.

It's a great story, much like the Rays. And nice for the guys who have been there for a while

OMG, I can't believe my Cards are going to the Super Bowl! Congrats to the Eagles and their fans-Eagles played with such heart in the second half and it looked like the Cards were going to completely fall apart. That late TD by the Cards was something I wasn't sure they had in them.

Dumb play, I'm sure emotions got the best of him. Still, you have to go down there, but that's something you see all too often from players who very rarely touch the ball.

Hook and ladder. Dockett "intercepted" the last backwards pass, making it a fumble.

Not really. Westbrook flipped the ball behind him, I think it hit the ground but Jackson was right there to grab it again. Jackson got trapped and had to just throw the ball backwards, Dockett caught it out of the air and then ran like an absolute moron laterally across the field long after time had expired. I guess technically those are fumbles but not the kind leading to some crazy rugby like scrum or something that the Yahoo description seems to imply.

I totally need to go to the comics shop on Military in the next day or two. The proprietor made the comment (he had the ATL/ARI game on a little TV) that if Atlanta scored before the half, Arizona was done. Atlanta scored, yes, but now the Cards are in the Super Bowl.

Gotta ask him how he feels about that one.

Great win for Warner and the Cardinals.. I do feel bad for McNabb though. Anyone who says he choked is wrong as far as I'm concerned.. he played his ass off.

They have a good chance, both defenses are likely going to be dominant, so its a toss up really, should be a low scoring close game. Gotta go with the Steelers due to their experience at the QB spot and some key injuries on the Ravens, but they certainly have a chance.

My Superbowl theme party depends upon it! I mean, Arizona Cardinals/Pittsburgh Steelers doesn't have a lot of theme potential. What the heck IS a Steeler, anyway?

Even that team needs an asterisk though, as that was one of the best franchises of the 70s and was struck with the injury bug that year.

I would call her the Absconder, Thief, Heartless Wench of the Rams rather than the owner, but, yes, she was the owner of the Rams in 2000.

But my impression was the present tense of the post re: "less deserving owner" was intended for current owners.

Most definitely.. I still miss the football Cardinals. Probably why everywhere I went today.. people were pulling for the Cardinals. Most of it had to do with Warner, but it was fitting he was the QB of our old team.
