Got in once to see that while going 7-3 in the last 10, I'd slipped into 3rd place. League IV is just a ball buster.

I got destroyed by Division 2, 13.5 games out in division 4 now(atlanta grandes). Though I'm a Cubs fan, so the words "Wait til next year" flow so easily off the tongue.

The 3 way war for first in Division 4 rages on.

Oh, and the current stats on our #1 overall draft pick, Lonnie Jackson...

GS/QS: 8/5
IP: 53.1
W/L: 5-2
SO: 37
ERA: 4.22
WHIP: 1.52

Not too shabby, rook.

Just finishing the series against cincinnati (3-0 right now) and you're next on the list

I really need to improve my record in the division.

This should be a helluva series. Palm Desert vs Brittany, with the Avengers just a half game out of first place and control of the mighty division 4.

And another note to instill some divisional pride. Our top 3 teams are the top 3 teams in the entire league. Go 4!

This road trip is certainly making problems for me. we are trying to maintain a .500 attitude about it, but on the road against div 3 was not fun. manchester got lit up on the road by div 3 as well.

Four games up in Division 1. I'm pretty sure that's my biggest lead of the season.

Of course, it's not really going to matter since I'll get my ass kicked in the playoffs (if I make the playoffs)...

I'm going to try my 1st round draft pick for 2-3 games, since I'm already leading the league, I can afford it.

I wonder what caused me to collapse so bad. I didn't bring up any of my draft picks, even the 24 year old that can probably play now, I wanted to see the effects of the low minors on everyone first during the offseason. I guess I basically threw away my chances this season as most other teams are starting their top draft picks.

Yeah tucker you can stop anytime now, I would still like to keep you in my sights. Looks like we could meet in the playoffs provided I don't choke against the Silver Bullets on the road.

I didn't bring up any of my draft picks either. They're all 22 or under though.

I'm gettin hammered now in IV. Sucks going 6-4, and dropping 2 games down on the league leader.

We scored 6 in our last game, courtesy of 5 HR's, 3 by the Leadoff hitter. We are anything but a HR/power team. In addition starter went typical 8 1/3 had 1 BB and 11k's. Thats more like my team.

Why do I have so much trouble with the damn bbors???

You may have won the season series, but I still have a chance at taking this last series from you and regaining my rubber...

YES!!! Thanks to a 1-0 shutout I have finally gained control of The Rubber!!!

Still, you win the season series 5-4. Does that mean I have to give it right back to you>

Anyone know why there is a MLB sticker at the bottom of the web site?

I couldn't imagine this site would need the MLB license or be able to afford it.

8 days to go and this nightmare season is over.

I think the pennant is out, but we should be playoff bound.

After 160 regular season games, the top two teams in each division play in a 7-game series to determine the division finalists. Then, the winners play in another 7-game series in the league finals. The winners then go on to the 7-game World Series. After the World Series, five game days (about 2 1/2 calendar days) proceed, in which players will announce retirement and end-of-season awards (MVP, Cy Young, all-stars) will be announced.

So you only have to finish in the top 2 of your division (since home factor doesn't seem to be a determinant factor, it doesn't really matter if you finish 1st or 2nd), already qualified :

Div 1 :

El Paso Vatos

Div 2 :

Iowa City Kickerassers
Victorville Bullets

Div 3 :

Nobody

Div 4 :

Brittany Celtics

The Wolverines (Div1), Mullets (Div3) and Avengers (Div4) are probable

WOOHOO!!! I'm in!!!

Well, I won the season series against Wyandote (who I'll almost definitly be playing) 11-3. The only thing that worries me is that they took the last series two games to one. Hopefully the season series is more indicitive of how the postseason will play out...

4 games out with 7 games to go. There's still a pennant to be won between Palm Desert and Brittany.

Seattle hangs on to playoff consideration by the slimmest possible thread - 6 games back of the Division 2 Wild Card with 6 games to play. Extremely unlikely, but the Grand Salamis have won 7 in a row to stave off elimination...

The only bad thing is...my team traditionally has followed up big winning streaks with just as bad losing streaks. We may be doomed in the playoffs.

Dola.

Well, we've clinched a playoff berth, but Brittany has been keeping the pace, and we're still 3 games out with but 4 games to go. It's possible, but just not likely.
