How about this? Quinn slips to 16 and GB offers the 16th pick and their 4th to KC for Larry Johnson?

So I go upstairs to have lunch & hilarity ensues. Dolphins ensure themselves of worst-draft-of-the-year status in a landslide.

Anybody ever fired an entire front office on draft day?

Why would KC want him? They have Huard for now and Croyle to develop -- wasn't he a second round pick last year? People seem very quick to throw away second round QBs to select first round ones that may not be a ton better.

Brady Quinn becomes the new posterboy for NFL draft slides. Every time a player starts to slide we'll see video of Quinn sitting in the green room.

Is KC at 23 a possibility?

I don't see St. Louis, Carolina, or Green Bay taking him.

Dude, why do any of these players still attend the draft? Haven't they seen any of the past ones? Stay home and bang your girlfriend.

When Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers were considered possible #1 Overall Picks, Smith went #1 to the Niners, Rodgers went to Green Bay.... Wasn't that in the 20's?

So this kind of drop going on with Quinn has happened very recently.

If Quinn drops to around 15th, teams in the top 5 of the draft could conceiveably make a trade up and snag him. I think the Bucs would be wise to consider a strong move up if they like him.

Possibility for Quinn is Cleveland or Detroit trading back into the first round -- Dallas, maybe, if he keeps going? -- and taking him in the early 20s or so.

Absolutely don't see KC still.

The Bucs already have about six QBs, though. Just gave a ton of money to both Simms and Garcia -- how much cap space can one team dedicate to having one player on the field?

Quinn to the Jags, trade Leftwich to KC, trade Garrard to Miami.

If Quinn is still there at 15....I'll call the trade up...

Bears trade 29 and 6th in the 2nd for 15 and the steelers 4th.

Quinn won't be seen again until he is selected I would guess. The commish invited him and his entourage into his office to get away from the cameras. Interesting thing for the new commish to do......

Personally, I don't like the way ESPN plays up Brady Quinn's emotions right now.

It's hard to feel bad for a guy who will be a part of what millions of young men dream of growing up. He will be doing something he loves to do and become very comfortably wealthy in the process. So he has to wait for possibly a few extra hours for this honor. Let's keep things in perspective.

I'd have to agree. He's been solid. The only annoying thing so far is he tends to repeat his points several times. I think he mentioned the possibility of a Calvin Johnson for Gaines Adams trade at least 7 or 8 times. But he's a lot more knowledgable than I expected. He's done his homework.

He's basically the "Anti-Irvin." Both are Jackass WRs, except he's actually watchable as a commentator.

I liked the move by Goddell to give Quinn some privacy. If he keeps slipping, and it looks like he might, you don't want to humiliate him by making him sit out there for three more hours as a zoo animal in the media's cage. Letting him get out of sight gives him some space, at least, and it'll get some of the media coverage off of him because they won't have new pictures to show. Regardless of how much money he's about to make it's good to show him some respect and dignity.

Has anyone commentated on how Quinn is dressed up like a Figure skater? Boy is way too pretty to play QB.

They should still be able to get a quality WR with their second round choice.

Oh I agree it's a decent thing to do for the guy, just caught me by surprise. Tags probably never even thought of that kind of thing...

I disagree. I would actually make Quinn get in a real cage and then have that cage moved around Radio City Music Hall on puleys so the crowd could yell insults at him. We need more entertainment in the draft.

I keep hoping that I'll wake up and discover that Ginn pick is just some bad dream.

But sadly, I'm awake and it actually happened.

This is a sad, sad day to be a Dolphins fan. I was really pulling for them to take Okoye.

A bit of a reach, I feel. The CBs are starting to fall -- Carolina? Pittsburgh? Cinci is looking like they're going to have options at #18 -- Revis looks like he'll still be around, Branch.

But what do the Packers do if Carolina takes Olsen in front of them? Do they reach for Meachem/Bowe? GB's position is getting really hurt by the reaches in front of them.

I heard Cam Cameron is going to come on and talk about taking Ginn. He's already being thrown to the Lions (and not the Detroit variety).

Nah, they'd trade down with the Jets or Chiefs before that. Favre will play another 2 years and they are high on Ingle Martin - not to mention Quinn offers very little over Aaron Rogers.

I actually like that pick for the Bills. They lost 5 games by a field goal last year, I think they could solidly move to 10-6 this year, around there anyways. Of course they could always be "looking good in offseason" as well.

IMO, the only player GB keeps their pick for is Darrelle Revis. If he's gone, they probably trade down to someone looking for Quinn.
