Tell that to Miami.

It appears that the last week of practices for Ohio State and Michigan were not pleasant experiences, and they are taking it out on Northwestern and Indiana.

I always find this funny, because of all the rivals the Dawgs have the one I respect, even like, the most is Auburn. Doesn't make this win less sweet. Nice win for the boys. I just hope this set them up to put a hurting on them Jackets. I think Vandy and Kentucky will be forgotten if UGA wins out.

Um.. you realize Miami is 8th in the ACC right now. So if they'd finish 5th in the Big East, that actually means the ACC is tougher. Just sayin'.

If you had grown up in Columbus, you'd understand. Trust me. Those people are EVERYWHERE in Columbus, and unfathomably obnoxious.

Columbus is the closest decent-sized city to Auburn, a little closer than Montgomery (which, I've heard, is a hell-hole if you're not from there), and quite a bit closer than Birmingham. Combine that with AFLAC and Synovus/CB&T being headquartered there, and you get a buttload of 'em moving there after graduation.

EDIT: It's close enough that a fair number of their undergrads live in Auburn during the summer, and work in Columbus.

Huge drop by Arizona's TE against Cal just now. Would have been 6 if he had caught it.

Yeah, I get the reasons you have. It is just my experience with Auburn fans (in laws, including one on the board there), they just don't even come close to the pain in the butt the average Florida, Tennessee, or South Carolina fan are. I would add Techies, but they are so few of them they are just a minor nuisance. Like gnats.

Wow, Cal has a wide open receiver who catches it but stumbles and falls at the 1. Arizona goal line stand holds them to a FG.

Just flipped over to see Nebraska score with 20 seconds left to take the lead 28-27 in College Station.

Wow... Cal is going to go down. Auburn went down. Florida barely beat South Carolina. Most of the 1 loss teams are having difficult weeks.

That's 3 Top 10 teams falling this week.

I think Rutgers benefits from this. They should step up in the polls fairly dramatically.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them sitting at #6 or #7 tomorrow.

edit: Maybe even higher if Texas, USC, or Arkansas stumbles tonight

I tell you what. Arizona's had a top 20 recruiting class for the past two seasons and is setting up for another big one this year. They could be a team to recon with in the Pac 10 next season. At any rate, this was a huge win.

Agreed. Especially given the computers seems to like them more than the other two BE teams.

Assuming USC, Texas and Arkansas wins, Rutgers will probably be at #6, with Louisville at #7 and WVU at #8 or #9. That would be three Big East teams in the Top 10.
