Yup...Antmesiter and Swaggs explained it correctly. We got married in Columbus, GA in mid-May, so it was 90+ degrees with high humidity. We were driving straight out of town from the church, so we thought it made sense to change clothes there.

Now, the funny thing about our wedding was that we sent a letter to all our guests saying that the dress coolly and comfortably, since we knew that the church would be pretty full on what was sure to be a very hot day. While we wanted to do the tuxedo/train thing for ourselves (since we'd have a little breathing room near us), we didn't want our guests, cramped in the pews, to have to suffer in dealing with the heat. After all, many were coming from metro Atlanta, and didn't know what REAL South Georgia heat was all about.

It was interesting to see how 400 different people interpreted what "cool and comfortable" meant. There were grown men in shorts/collar shirt/sandles, while others dressed in their lightest-colored-lightest-materialed jacket/tie combination, and there was everything in between, too.

There have been some requests for pics of Mrs. Q - and I am finally giving in to the pressure, and posting one here.

Here is Mrs. Q from this weekend, playing in the Borgata Poker open in Atlantic City. She's the one folding the queen-eight offsuit.
