I love it. This windbag in our FF league scored 180 pts in week one, claimed he was winning the championship. He's been 2-3 since. Today, he's jawing again because he has Brady, Moss, DeAngelo Williams, His team has 209 pts. He thinks he's back in business. I told him Williams was overrated, he should trade him when he has a big game. Guy just called me saying "see, that's why I kept Williams" Because he had a great game against a bad Buc team? Idiot.

Sometimes, Fantasy Football annoys me.

What a line for Sanchez thus far, 8/23 for 91 yards, 0 TDs, and 4 INTs.

My problem with FF was always trying to figure out what to do when a player on my FF team played my Jags. Who was I rooting for? It confused me.

Amazing that Rex Ryan blew a challenge on a play that would only give them 6 yards back. Now the Jets are down to 1 TO and no challenges.

I know, I hate when they play against the Colts.

Of course, karma is getting me with that. I had traded for Addai, then cut him because of his slow start. He's been good since. I'm being punished for being a bad fan.

That, and I somehow talked myself into starting Westbrook over Colston today. At least Westbrook did decent.

6 yards is a pretty big deal considering the field position, clock and tie score.

Six yards is not worth your 2nd TO and a challenge at all.

True on that end, but losing the 2nd TO, with a rookie QB who's already struggling mightily? That is not worth it.

When the other team is driving for a game winning FG?

Considering how much they have been gashed all game with Jenkins out, they were getting those 6 yards back regardless. It's good to have confidence in your D, but it's also good to be a realist.

How the hell can you run the ball only 11 times in a game in which you never trailed by more than 7 points? Especially when they averaged almost 6 yards a carry on those 11 carries...

He can be one of the most frustrating coaches sometimes; when he almost seems to refuse to change up his plan when it's not working.

Patriotes/Tennessee was like Michigan/Delaware State yesterday. I bet Delaware State only gives up 59 to the Pats and Michigan may well have beaten Tennessee. Shameful effort. They just laid down and said, thank you sir, may I please have another?

Oh, and WTF Eagles? and LOL at the Redskins.

LOL @ the Jets. They were in FG range, penalty pushed them back out, sanchez threw it into the ground on 3rd and 14...then they botched the 50 yard FG snap and had to throw it away.

my brother will love the Jets-Bills game though - he kept the Bills defense after last week accidentally-almost, and he'll be nicely rewarded for that

Today did a lot to seperate the best teams in football at this point.

It looks like the Saints stand a top. The Vikings had a huge win but showed some glaring weaknesses late in that game. The Patriots took care of business in a huge way.

Id say at this point the top teams in the NFL go this way
1. New Orleans
2. Pittsburgh
3. Indianapolis
4. Minnesota
5. New York Giants
6. New England
7. Baltimore
8. Chicago
9. Atlanta
10. Denver(had to put them here even though I think Arizona belongs)

I never understood the appeal of sudden death at all, at least not in the face of the logical full 15 minute OT period. So a defensive struggle that forces the players in those games to play a full 15 minute OT to a tie game is fine for those players, but heaven forbid we have players in other games play an extra 15 minutes...?

Although, with this ugly game, I definitely see the appeal of sudden death!

I know Sanchez has never played in bad weather, but he has been really, really bad three games in a row now. If it keeps up, it has to be a huge concern.

Pittsburgh hasn't had one complete game this year outside of week 1. They have had an absurdly easy schedule and still played tons of close games. Yes, they've been winning, but they haven't been that convincing.

I think Indy is #2 behind the Saints. 3-7 you can put in a hat and pick them.

I agree w/ this pretty much.

Saints 1, Indy 2, I think Denver and Atlanta are both very good and could be in that "put in a hat and pick" region. I would certainly rate them both above Chicago and Baltimore right now.

In fact, while I thought Baltimore might be the best team in the league very early only, its impossible to ignore that 2 of their 3 wins are against KC and Cleveland and that they've lost 3 in a row. They probably don't deserve to be in a top 10 of a power rankings right now at all.

Sanchez is going to be okay. I don't think he'll be amazing but he'll be solid enough. Problem is he seems to get really rattled when he struggles. If he starts hot he plays well, but once he is down, he is down for good.

Dear NBC Crew,

Just because the Falcons would like a great QB, a great WR, and a great RB, doesn't mean they're copying the Colts.

Thanks.

this is just plain wrong.

I am making no excuses for them, they were totally whipped today, however, the year they won the superbowl they got crushed week 2 by the packers and were 0-2.

The Giants had to go on the road today against one of the best teams in the NFL who were coming off a bye week. It was a recipe for disaster, the Saints had 2 weeks to prepare. Every team is going to lose some games during the season. No shame in losing this game.

Granted, the way they lost was rough, but no reason to panic.

Went out to get a bite to eat, ended up seeing the Jets-Bills OT.

That's enough to make someone swear off football for life. Like watching Vandy play Duke, minus the entertainment factor.

I said something similar earlier in the thread. Not only did they get crushed week 2 by the Pack, they gave up 45 to the Boys in week 1. Not gonna lie though, might be time to panic about all those injuries in the secondary, those guys today looked absolutely lost out there. We'll find out next week against the pass happy Cardinals.

Pittsburgh doesn't deserve to be in the top 5 in my opinion.

1. New Orleans
2. Indianapolis

5. New England
6. Atlanta
7. Pittsburgh
8. New York Giants

Do we have to recap the Cutler-Orton trade at the beginning of every game of both the Broncos and Bears? It's starting to get old

As it is, the Redskins are the first team in NFL history to face six consecutive winless opponents ...

Maybe that had been mentioned here at some point but if so, I missed it & didn't realize it until I read it a few minutes ago
